it's not that big and the shops inside are medium quality. some just open and after a few months close. Food wise I don't like the restaurants that are just outside the Mall. I would only save "The Jar".
I've been to Malta 8 times and it gets worse every time. It is an absolute dump! The land of plastic bottles. The Maltese do not give a damn about this beautiful part of the world. You will get ripped off and sleazed on. I love Malta but urge you to go elsewhere. It is a Shi?$%!e . I cannot be more honest than that.
The Point is the best place to shop for most things. It's one of the biggest shopping centres in Malta but is quite small compared to what we have in Australia. During summer, it's a good place to escape the heat during the day and cool off with their air-conditioning and have a bite to eat or a coffee. Overall it's a nice place and great choice of shops.
The mall is small and populated with economy brands on the ground floor and empty premium stores upstairs. Does not offer much of a large city, continental shopping experience. Consider only if confronted with poor weather and left with limited other choices.
