It has a beautiful fireplace, a very comfortable double bed, spacious living room, and a well stocked kitchen. It has a gorgeous view of snow capped mountain, especially when you soak in the bathtubs. The owner is very friendly and ensured that we were looked after, even though they themselves had to be overseas. We find this an excellent choice especially you are here for skiing at Mt Hutt - better than staying anywhere else in Methven.

The location is the golden ticket!!! Mt Sunday (aka Edoras) can be seen from the Lodge!!! Short drive later and you can see it from SEVERAL angles! BEAUTIFUL star-lit sky! Ultimate Quiet Rustic location!!! GREAT Location!!!

Gorgeous view and wonderful location if you're hiking Mount Sunday (Edoras), lots of parking, lovely to have a cafe on site. Staff were great to have a chat to.

- very nice staff - good restaurant and bar on site for breakfast, lunch, dinner or just enjoying a drink. - great view/surroundings - Mt. Sunday or for LOTR nerds, Edoras, is 5 minutes by car.
