Location Facility Room size Comfortable bed Polly front desk employee was very helpful. She suggested places to visit and restaurants. She made our first trip to Puerto Rico very easy and fun. She tried her best to check us in prior to the check in time.

The best thing about this property is it’s fabulous location - right on the beach by the ocean

Easy check in, room was ready and pleasant desk attendant. Morning salutation, Goodnight and sleep well was a staple.

What I particularly liked about Ciqala was the genuine friendliness of the staff and the warm, easy conversation that made the stay feel personal rather than transactional. The hotel itself is very spacious, with clean, well-maintained quarters and a rooftop pool offering an excellent view. Soleil stood out as a particularly memorable member of staff, adding a human touch that elevated the overall experience. The location is highly convenient, with easy access to everything needed while travelling, and the rooms are fully equipped with all the utensils required for cooking and cleaning, making longer stays both practical and comfortable.

The Don Rafa is a beautiful hotel, very well appointed throughout, absolutely stunning decor. We booked the Miramar Jr Suite, and plenty of room with living area with refrigerator and great large tv and couch, and bed comfy. Aircon good and not noisy at all. Decent continental breakfast in lobby, and gorgeous rooftop pool and cabana area we wish we had made more use out of. Very good restaurant on site, and lots of close by restaurants and bars. Most of all we have to comment on the incredibly personable and friendly staff at the Don Rafa - all kind, funny, helpful and cheerful, always addressing you personally by name which really added the special touch. We felt very welcome and at home there, and would not hesitate to return if ever back in San Juan. Highly recommend this hotel.

I loved that breakfast was available and the omelettes were great. The staff was great and were able to speak both English and Spanish fluently.

This is a reasonably priced hotel located in the heart of San Juan. They offer free parking, although spaces are limited. There is a complimentary water dispenser and a microwave, and they also provide beach towels and sunscreen for free. On the day of your check-in, you’ll receive an access code to enter your room directly. The Wi-Fi was stable and fast. While the room wasn't particularly large, it was clean, well-maintained, and the shower worked perfectly. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking to save on travel costs.
