The location was perfect. Very close to the historic centre. Also pretty close (around or less than 10 min walk) to the central bus station where FlixBus and GetBus from the airport comes. On the corner of the same street there was Starbucks and also many catering options. I liked the overall service and cleanliness of the hotel. All the appliances were in a working condition. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was nice, decent amount of options to choose from. It was medium/small size hotel, so pretty calm atmosphere all around. Room was clean. Sound isolation was good. Did not hear anything from other rooms, I could hear sounds from the street and festival, but it was not super critical. The front desk was open 24/7, which was great. When I checked in there was even a handrwritten note welcoming my stay. As I was there during the São João festival, there was a toy hammer and a note left on my table to go and enjoy the celebration. Very thoughtful.
