My favourite Portuguese football team. Couldn't be in Lisbon and not visit Luz. The items in Benfica store could be better organised and well displayed. I wanted a symbolic toy but there were some names, not mine.
Stadium tour excellent but the stand out was the museum. It really excelled in demonstrating the community philosophy of Benfica, and how Benfica"s history sits within world history. It is not just a football museum...visit...you'll be delighted.
At least a whole day should be taken and undeniable the best stadium after the Wembley in England-United Kingdom. Amazing history in its enormous museum and the wonderland of its stadium. Shoud watch a game and review the Sport Lisbon Benfica club.
We managed to get to a match one evening and found it very easy to get back using the Metro - a lot of the spectators seemed to go into the shopping centre across the road afterwards, probably to eat.
