Rather exceeded expectations. Large, comfortable & clean room. Wonderful river view. Fantastic location as easy to get to Porto for sightseeing but staying away from the noise & dust of the city. Great breakfast on wonderful terrace. Staff is extraordinarily friendly and helpful.

We loved everything about the property! I can not emphasize enough about what an absolute gem this hotel is. The location directly across from the Douro River is perfect! Our room was cozy, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was top notch. The breakfast eating area is cozy and charming. The breakfast had a fantastic selection to choose from. The staff at breakfast were so professional. Best of all were the entire staff at this hotel. They were so professional, welcoming, friendly and helpful!! We were always greeted upon arriving back at the hotel. It felt like coming home!!
