We visited 4 castles in Sintra - Quinta de Regaleira, Pena...
We visited 4 castles in Sintra - Quinta de Regaleira, Pena Palace, Moorish Scales and Monseratte and definitely the Regaleira was our favorite for the intricate architecture and the thoughtful details and stunning views from each nook around the gardens and the palace. The gardens are magnificent and very well maintained. So much beauty everywhere, we felt like in a fairy tale. :)

It is such a grand, spacious area that should handle crowds better. Buying tickets was not efficient as it seemed like there was only ticket line whereas 4 other people could have helped more. The employees were not processing people pleasantly or rapidly. If the cue could see which employee was free (like an airline). Signage not adequate.

Our hostess was very helpful with check in, stowing the car, and recommending a good nearby restaurant, not that there aren't dozens of great ones within walking distance. In particular she recommended Raiz Sintra, about a fifteen minute walk away. This location is a great spot for visiting nearby Pena Palace, The Moorish Castle, Quinta da Regaleira and closest of all, Sintra National Palace. The room had a lovely view of the Sintra area, especially at night. Would stay here again in a heartbeat if we were ever back in Sintra.

The tub was large and worked out great! Overall property is well designed and upscale. The employee said they just finished a 3 yr renovation project! Breakfast was good. Location is perfect, easy Uber or taxi to Pena Palace and Moorish Castle. Walk to Quinta da Regaleira and some other sites. Restaurants within walking distance.

This apartment is GORGEOUS! Clean, spacious, well equipped, and it's in an unbeatable location right across from the National Palace. It's a short walk to Quinta da Regaleira, and the stop for the bus (434) that goes up to Pena Palace is 1 minute away. We stayed here as a family of four with two children, and it was the perfect size for us. I would absolutely stay here again and will recommend it to friends visiting Sintra.

From $44 per nightLocation is a huge bonus. It's 5 minutes walking distance from the train station and the rings that go up to attraction sites (Pena Palace, Quinta da Regaleira..). There are lots of cafes/restaurant nearby. Staff was super nice and welcoming. I'd say the room was clean and big. We have been provided with towels and hand soap but not shampoo and hair dryer.

It is a lovely hotel, close to the fairytale Quinta da Regaleira (200m). the staff was AMAZING! from Silvi to Tiago; made you feel at home. very good recommendations on where to visit and where to continue your journey. Breakfast was exquisite!
