This 150 year-old residence is surrounded by a garden with a swimming pool and offers view of Sintra’s Moorish Castle. Fantastic old villa rebuilt 60 years ago for a hotel.
Located in the center of Sintra, the Bliss Hotel is a designer hotel full of character, fitted with contemporary interiors. Outstanding stay at the sintra bliss!! Exceeded expectations- staff were incredible. Cheers :)
In center of the historic UNESCO town of Sintra, this boutique hotel has rooms and suites with views of the historic quarter and Sintra-Cascais Natural Park. Breakfast was great. Staff was amazing. The young lady (I never can remember her name!
Hotel Nova Sintra has a large terrace overlooking the Sintra Mountain Range and a romantic patio shaded by large trees. It features simply decorated rooms and free Wi-Fi. All is good! In this hotel feels like at grandma's home - starting from old-fashion furniture,...
Tivoli Palácio de Seteais is an elegant 5-star hotel set in the mountainside of Sintra with privileged views of the Moorish Castle and Pena Palace. Chapeau bas to the staff, especially the senior ladies and gentlemen, for an impeccable and highly...
Lawrence's Hotel has country-style rooms and suites featuring a library and an elegant restaurant with French windows. In a renovated countryside manor, it offers rooms with antique furniture. Historical place with very good hospitality Very clean with antique Very close to Sintra castle
It is such a grand, spacious area that should handle crowds better. Buying tickets was not efficient as it seemed like there was only ticket line whereas 4 other people could have helped more. The employees were not processing people pleasantly or rapidly. If the cue could see which employee was free (like an airline). Signage not adequate.
Amazing architecture! Huge gardens! The signs in the gardens are not so frequent, so, I got lost many times in search for the Tower of Regoleira! You should devote at least 3 hours to see it all well!
It was very nice. The cistern is amazing and finding little paths leading you from one level to another. There is very limited parking. There are about 6 spaces at the bottom of the property near the exit.
I went to Sintra to view the gardens of the quintas rather than the quintas themselves. Sintra is a wildly popular day trip from Lisbon. All the attractions are quiet in the morning but it was a madhouse every afternoon.
The site is smaller than it appear on the map. I read some review that you can spend easily 3-4 hours here. I think it's overrated. We've spent 1,5h and saw everything. Very nice place though! A bit crowded (and we went there on Wed in October around 14:00)
Go early before the sun gets hot. Opens at 10a.m., and most of what you will see is outside. Interesting caves and rock structures, beautiful plants and statues, nice cafe with toilets above. A very nice morning visit.
My wife and I loved staying here! The Lawrence Hotel staff were fantastic and breakfast was amazing. Location is unbeatable - you are a ten minute walk to Quinta da Regaleira and the National Palace. Easy bus ride or Uber to other sights. We reserved the parking garage (there are a few spots in front of the hotel, but we didn't want to risk not getting a spot). Accurate listing. Would recommend!
It was so close to everything yet still just away from the bustle of the tourists to get some peace and quiet. It is a pleasant walk to Quinta da Regaleira and the National Palace and then the bus to Pena Palace and Moorish Castle is just around the corner. I was warmly greeted and made to feel at home. If you want a comfortable place to stay in Sintra, then this is it!
The location is quiet. Away from the bustle of Sintra, close to the footpath leading up to the Moorish Castle and Pena Palace, with a bus stop outside if you do not want to hike up the hill. Lovely buffet breakfast with breads, fruit and yoghurt, coffee and juices. Wonderful views of the castle from the terrace. Also walking distance to Quinta da Regaleira.
Amazing service, one of the best I've ever had. Beautiful place, walking distance from downtown and the beginning of the walk to Castelo dos Mouros and 5 minutes walk from Quinta da Regaleira.
The property was in a perfect location near many shops and restaurants. Walking distance to the Quinta da Regaleira and the National Palace. Very friendly staff.
