We had a fantastic stay at Scandic Södra Kajen! Our room was compact but perfectly suited for a family, with two beds and a cozy bunk bed—just what we needed. The view of the harbor from our window was stunning, adding to the overall experience. Breakfast was delicious, offering a wide variety of choices to suit everyone’s taste. The leisure area was a great place to unwind, and having a store nearby was really convenient for any essentials. Although the hotel is located a bit further from the city center, it didn’t bother us at all. In fact, it was a great opportunity to explore different types of Stockholm’s public transport, which made getting around both easy and enjoyable. Highly recommend this hotel for families looking for a comfortable and well-equipped place to stay in Stockholm!

Upon arrival the hotel was clean, stylish and had many luxury cars parked outside. The main lobby was bustling with activity, with a live DJ playing landmark music as a happy mix of locals and international guests enjoyed drinks and conversations. The young man at front desk was smartly dressed, pleasant and incredibly friendly. He directed me to the room and the area for breakfast. All the while I was soaking in the relaxed, cozy, biophillic interior design that made the hotel feel safe and luxurious. The room was the same. Incredibly clean, furniture, lights and power outlets where you need them, the bathroom was modern, roomy and warm. The bed was extremely comfortable and the view out across the river was incredible, especially facing the sunset. There was more than enough choice for breakfast. Great service from the team clearing plates and keeping the buffet full of food. Definitely more than enough to keep anyone going for the day. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will 100% be returning very very soon. The short distance from the city center, stylish setting and top class staff made my stay exquisite.

Everything was perfect, easily among the top three hotels we’ve ever stayed at. The location, design, breakfast, staff, atmosphere, and overall mood were exceptional. We felt serene and relaxed while being just 10 minutes from the city. Highly recommended!

Excellent hotel with a perfect location . The breakfast was outstanding with a wide variety of fresh and delicious options. The staff were extremely friendly, professional, and always ready to help. The room was spacious, very clean, and comfortable. We truly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

Front desk staff great Breakfast amazing

I wanted to surprise my husband for his birthday and the staff went out of their way to make everything seamless and comfortable. My husband loved his surprise and it was a very nice touch that he was wished Happy Birthday at reception and we had a lovely note left in the room. Big Thanks to Sofia for organising everything from being able to take our small dog who was supplied with a bed and food to making our dinner reservations at another hotel. My husband will always remember this. Highly recommend a visit!

Fabulous hotel, very helpful staff, excellent facilities, room excellent, breakfast excellent, great location, would definitely stay here again.

Everything was very clean and the check-in went smoothly, we only had to use our phone. But the best was the details. The room has 2 reusable bottles of water for us to use, a totem bag and a Polaroid camera. There was coffee, tea and some chocolates.

Our stay was excellent! The location was perfect — only three metro stops away from the Old Town, which made getting around very easy and convenient. The breakfast was delicious with a great variety of options. The room was small, but perfectly suitable for a short stay and very comfortable. It was also impressively warm inside, even though the temperature outside was -16°C. Overall, my rating is 10/10 — I would definitely stay here again!

Excellent price/quality ratio: ideally situated close to a major underground station + the major attraction for me: the INCLUDED, GENEROUS HALF-BOARD MEAL PLAN (full breakfast, light afternoon coffee break, full dinner)!! The food was without frills, but hearty and of excellent quality, with vegetarian options. Because of this great meal plan--you just pay for your drinks--I hardly spent anything on food outside during my week in Stockholm. And the staff was very friendly too!! I will without hesitation stay at this hotel again when I return to Stockholm!! It is truly like a "home away from home" (the hotel motto is spot on)!!

Great Breakfast and Meal and personal at the hotel in the reception as well as in the restaurant. Cosy hotel in the centre of the town. Walking distance to Embassy and shopping districts. No problem to find a parking slot outside the hotel.
