There is so many uneducatied ppl at the party. Also when you dance at the beach, it feels like you are clubbing in a sauna. Compare the time i spend for to get the island, i doubt that it is worth it.
Full Moon Party was cool but the alcohol buckets are rip offs! You can buy a bucket for 300 baht but they poor what you think you’re getting out and make their own watered down cocktail behind the bar where you can’t see! We bought 4 buckets before we figured out we were not getting any booze so we bought pint for 350 baht from a store on the beach and immediately had a MUCH better time!
You have to visit it at least once in your life, a MUST SEE attraction for everyone who visits Thailand- even for those of you who don't consider themselves part people. There is not much to tell than not already well known-- there are many many many tourists and alcohol on this party. Various platforms/areas of the beach play different types of music, so if you don't like one just move to the other one. Many people piss into the sea, many couples are having sex on the beach and there are theft cases so don't bring valuables like your passport and keep your other stuff (like money, phone, or even clothing e.g. hats) close to you at all times. Enjoy!
Not as good as I would have thought. Maybe I expected to much to start with. But ok for a all night out with an afternoon speed boat in and morning out of Koh Phan Ngang if you happen to be visit Koh Samui for a few days.
Never seen anything like it before it was amazing but very busy. You need to be so careful and vigilant though but it is definitely something to see and experience Entrance fee - 100 baht Bathrooms -20 baht to use but no toilet paper most people were going to the use the ocean as a bathroom Buckets are about 200 baht and make sure they pour them in front of you or you pour it yourself
Great experience, the locals welcomed everyone and everyone was happy and enjoyed themselves. Would recommend this for young people travelling to Thailand. Felt safe to walk around as we stayed on the Main Street, Great vibes from other tra
