I stayed 12 nights in Tropicana and I really enjoyed it! Nice spot close to a little beach with a nice view from the restaurant Also lovely personal there

Very nice big room, clean, nice bathroom, friendly staff

Good looking property with a good taste in design and attention to detail. Privacy, beautiful view from the lodge and a comfy bed. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and free fruits from the garden were left hanging on our door in the morning. The property is located on a hill giving it a peaceful vibe. We rented a motorbike which made moving on the island way easier, but the location was overall good!

Room was perfect and the cafe downstairs did not disappoint!! Not too far from the town maybe a 30 min walk. You might find a couple of bugs every now and then but you just pop them outside no big deal :))

I highly recommend Utopia guesthouse to anyone planning to visit Koh Tao. Whether you’re looking for relaxation for adventure, this place has it all. My stay was nothing short of amazing, and I can’t wait to return!

Incredible location right on the beach with amazing, attentive staff! The restaurant is great and includes happy hour and there was communal spaces for relaxing.

Excellent stay! The room was very comfortable, with great attention to detail. The hotel facilities are also top-notch and meet all expectations. The location is ideal, making it very easy to get around. The staff is kind and professional, and special thanks to the manager, who is very welcoming, attentive, and truly cares about guests’ well-being. Highly recommended!

This hotel has the most perfect, most beautiful smile, most hardworking manager (Mat) and staff you can see in the world, I would like to thank manager Mat again, Linn, Fai, Min Thura Soe, Cowboy and all the staff whose names I don't know. You are amazing guys. I felt like I was at home. First of all, the room is very big, very clean, has a magnificent sunset. There is a reef in the sea in front of the hotel, I didn't even need to go to another bay. And the food is beyond amazing, the chef's food is extremely delicious, I didn't even go to another restaurant for 7 days. Thank you for making my holiday wonderful. I will never forget you and I will come again. I loved you all very much 🙏🙏🙏❤️

We stayed for six nights and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is very clean and well maintained. Although it is not new, it still feels great thanks to the excellent care taken by the staff. The team deserves special mention — they were extremely helpful, friendly, and always smiling. They even surprised us with small Christmas gifts, which was a lovely touch.

Very nice room , with comfortable bed. The bathroom and the facilities are great, and the staff were great.

Very good location, the staff is incredible. You can rent motorbike upon arrival which is a huge advantage. Also, they offer pier transfer for free. 🙏 We didn’t ask for daily cleaning still the ladies gave us fresh water every single day.

We came in late in the evening, way after checkin time and Reception was closed at this point. I called the owner of the hotel and asked for help and just a few minutes later 3 very friendly woman arrived on a Scooter, did the checkin and showed us our room. I am very Grateful for the kind service! Next day I forgot my charger in the room and came back to get it from one member of staff. Thanks agian!

It was wonderful, all the rooms were super clean when we arrived and the welcoming of the team there was super nice.

Great staff with a clean and good value room

The staff were great, happy with us extending our trip. We booked the room with no a/c and shared bathroom as we are on a budget and the owner kindly gave us a room after two nights with a private bathroom and air conditioning. I would recommend booking an air conditioning room when you come here as it gets very hot.

For the price charged, this was a great deal. The room was spotless. The staff was excellent. Everything was excellent considering the low price. The island was fully booked and we did not plan properly. This place saved us from sleeping in the beach and we would definitely recommend to any one budget conscious. Normally I stay at 4 or 5 star resorts and this place was cleaner than some on Koh Tao that I won't bother naming.

The location is perfect, the place is clean, comfortable, the room was spacious, I had water bottles everyday, I wasn't expecting it and my room had a beautiful view to a little jungle with the sea on the horizon. The lady at the reception very nice. I'm traveling solo, not fancy, and would be back here for sure.
