A little odd Taksim Square is Istiklal Street, a street with lots of shops and a fantastic buzz. Off Istiklal are plenty of side streets worth exploring for small restaurants and bars I loved the beer corner bar,and others along that stretch

As a traveler, I found this place very attractive and enjoyable to visit. The atmosphere is pleasant and well suited for people who like exploring city locations and popular spots. It is easy to access and fits well into a city sightseeing plan. The area feels lively, interesting, and well organized, making it a good stop while visiting the city. My name is NIMAX, and as a tourist from France and Iran who travels around the world, I appreciate places like this that offer a positive and smooth visiting experience. Bubbly, full of tourists. Lots of shops to explore. I went for lots of walks. I was in Starbucks a lot. There were so many places to take pictures. Lots of excited birds settled in the square and that was great to see.

Taksim Square is a hectic area with lots of vehicle traffic—its definitely worth a visit but don't choose a hotel at the square—choose to book a boutique hotel in the cute winding neighborhoods over/south towards the Galata area. Or better yet, just book in Sultanahmet and make Taksim a walking/ferries/tram day outting one day of your trip. Stay in Istanbul for at least a week, especially if its your first time! My favorite area of hotels to adventure from is down a bit from the Sultanahmet centre around the fountain of Kadirga Park/Little Hagia Sophia neighborhoods.

Touristic place were everything is extremely expensive.

Touristic place were everything is extremely expensive. At least they tell you that they’ll rip you, not like elsewhere. Very dirty. No bins to through away your garbage. You eat a snack while going taxim on foot? Just through it on the street. What can I say? Never seen this before. Everything dirty. Baklava? 1 kilo goes for at least 55 euros!!! And nothing significant to justify its price. Whatever. I won’t be back. Beware people.

The apartment was very spacious, clean, and comfortable. The amenities, such as the washing machine and dishwasher, were very much appreciated! The shower was great. When we had an issue with the WiFi (which ultimately worked excellently!), the host quickly responded and promptly fixed the issue. The location was superb, with close proximity to Taksim Square, and the M2 & T1 public transport lines. Having a lift available was convenient too. There is a helpfully located shop right next to the entrance, with a very friendly cat outside!

The residence exceeded our expectation and felt like home away from home. It was spacious, well equipped and luxurious. The hotel location is excellent with Taksim square only a short walk away. Breakfast had a huge spread of local as well as international food items

The kitchen is fully equipped, there is an elevator for senior guests, the reception staff spoke foreign languages, were helpful, and provided information about the surrounding area. I keep going there everytime I'm in İstanbul. Best location ever. Everything is within reach. Best and most friendly staff. Very professional and helpful. The hotel itself is beautiful, immaculate clean with Best views of either the city or the bosphorus. The lobby overlooks taksim square so matter what time you decide to take your break and relax, you live both worlds the stunning ambience of the lobby and hustle and bustle of the city right underneath.

The apartment had all of the amenities such as enough beds, washing machine, two bathrooms and a seating area with kitchen- everything that we needed. The location was fantastic. It is a 5 minute walk to the main Taksim Square one way and about a 8 minute walk to the kabatad port the other way. Access to local transport was vital for us and this appartment provided that.
