Tlos
The Tlos Ruins are perched on a hill overlooking the sweeping Xanthos Valley. One of the oldest Lycian cities, it was continually inhabited from the 3rd century BC to the 19th century. As you walk along thyme-filled paths, you’ll see the crumbling remains of ancient tombs and sarcophagi, Roman baths and theatres and an Ottoman fortress. It’s a steep climb, so bring plenty of water.
