Hotels near Houyi Station, Kaohsiung

The hotel is in good location (bus & subway stations close by), the staff is very friendly and helpful (you can drop off your luggage before check-in), my room had all the amenities that were needed, the breakfast provided at the hotel had a lot of choices at the buffet.

Location was extremely convenient. I liked that everything was within walking distance and enough stores and things to sightsee around the hotel. If I didn't want to take a taxi and bus there were things that was walkable distance to see. It was close to convenient stores on any direction you chose. One closer then others but if I wanted to go to a different 7/11, the next one was on the next block. Everything you need is within walking distance if you don't have a vehicle. There is a breakfast restaurant literally across the street from the hotel. I highly recommend Mr. Leo because it gives a very local feel. If you are travelling solo or in a group it's a very nice place to hang out in the morning and drink your cup of soy milk. Don't expect your fancy cafe/restaurant but it's a great place to start your morning adventure as it's only down the street from the hotel. Prices are very local too. It had a variety of options to choose from, if you wanted waffles it had waffles and if you wanted a more Taiwanese breakfast it had omelets and the like. Then if you walked the main street and further in, the hotel is close enough for you to have other options from big food chains such as KFC, McDonalds and Burger King.

The room is big enough with a huge and comfortable bed. Bathroom ok with a nice shower and the toilet has the warm up seat. Big window both in the room and in the bathroom. There is a fridge, courtesy water bottles and slippers. Everything was super clean. Breakfast was ok, mostly Asian food but also the possibility to do toasted bread with butter and jam. 5 mins walk from the train station. Lots of shops and minimarkets around. I would definitely stay here again. The staff speaks almost no English which means you don't get any informations about anything and that's quite weird for a 4 star hotel, but if you ask they will do their best to help you.

Midtown Richardson never fails to impress me regardless of which branch. Room is clean and comfortable. Facilities were new and good. Everything was provided for. Heater and air conditioning working well too.

I appreciate how accommodating their staff and the breakfast they’re serving is simple yet it applicable to all their guest. They serve variety of choices. The property is clean and it’s price is affordable.

The common space was huge, laundry facilities was free and the free flow ice cream and snacks were all excellent. The breakfast was great as well.

coffee, juices and buns were available 24 hrs. no worry if you got hungry, no need to go outside the hotel. free breakfast is delicious.

Chose this one because of all the great reviews about the breakfast but still it exceeded my expectation 😂 Outside the breakfast time there is bruch time, and the snack bar is open 24/24. The hotel is easy to find and is very new just like in the pictures. Price wise, this is like 15 out of 10.

Very professional staff, exceptionally helpful and polite. They all speak great English. Really clean room, tasty breakfast and good selection of food even for picky eaters (vegan).

The location near to kaohsiung main station, the staffs were so friendly! Near to 7e , safe for female travellers

It is quiet, no noise from the hallway nor the street. The beds are comfy, the rooms were all clean, the water pressure is good, toiletries provided smell good. All the rooms I stayed in had windows, and all the windows were openable for some fresh air. Note that when you shower, you need to turn the handle all the way to the left, turn the water on, and wait up to 10 minutes for the water to get hot. In one room it was much faster, in the other two it really took that long. But once hot, it was excellent! The team is super nice, and there is usually one person who speaks more English and who can help. The older gentleman was my favorite, so welcoming and warm! But I really liked all the staff. It is nothing fancy. But they are going above and beyond for making people feel welcome. There are some small Taiwanese snacks next to reception, some little cakes in a cooled cake tower, and two types of ice cream you can serve yourself. They also keep your luggage for you after you check out. There is a 7-11 a few steps away. Its a very solid place, excellent value for money. I will return again if I come back to Kaohsiung!
