Located a short walk from the main train station, at first I thought the location was a bit in the wilderness. However, after spending some time in the area (and other parts of the city) I realised that the hotel was located in the middle of the 'happening' parts of the city. Lots of interesting shops around, plenty of food options, and very close (walking distance) to many of the best tourist sites. I stayed in a fabulous room on the 7th floor: the room seemed like it was brand new and with everything you could ever need, including Japanese-style heated toilet. Staff spoke good English, were helpful and very friendly. From the hotel, it's a 7-10 minute walk to the railway station, and about the same to the bus station. Buses to the airport run 24/7 and are inexpensive. Trains run only from 6am. The airport is about 40km from the city and it takes around an hour by bus/train.

The front desk concierge was so kind, friendly, and personable which made us feel really welcome. She also gave us great recommendations in the area. My room was spacious, very clean, and comfy - perfect for the last day of a long trip around Taiwan. The breakfast had tons of options, and the food was very fresh. It felt like the staff went above and beyond.

​The location is unbeatable—directly above the Taipei Bus Station and connected to Q Square Mall and Taipei Main Station. It makes transport (bus, MRT, HSR, airport express) and finding food/shops incredibly easy. The room was generally spacious and clean. The city view is great, the hotel is on the 16th floor.
