The view was nice but the nearby Elephant Mountain (Xiangshan) was a way better experience and much nicer view. If you are in the Taipei 101, take the effort and climb the mountain. You wont' regret it. Or if you don't have enough time to do both, I'd recommend the Mountain!

The view from the summit is impressive but not that great. I only recommend the visit for the one interested in the ingineering (big sphere at the top). If you want a nice view on the city, go to Elephant mountain!

Taipei 101 was great, but one thing I'd keep in mind is the line situation. Since the elevators are so small, you will need to wait in a pretty long line to go up as well as go down. If you need to get somewhere quickly after going, you'll want to account for the time it takes to wait in line.

A very typical shopping mall with many luxurious shops. The view of the observation deck pretty much depends on the weather and your photography technique. The ticket is not cheap at all. The footbridge 5 minutes away from the 101 tower is an excellent location to take photos of the tower as well as the light trials.

As an architect, interesting. However, for all visitors, the area around Taipei 101 is amazing and offers unique type of outdoor seating themed restaurants while enjoying the people moving about the place, taking selfies, eating and drinking and shopping.

A bit foggy due to rain, when we went there as such we didn't get to see the observatory. But after waiting for an hour or so - you can see outside clearing up which is nice ! There's also a foodcourt downstairs that offers different food !

The beauty of the hotel is beyond what photos convey. It's indeed a grand hotel, with ornate beauty around every corner. The staff is excellent; they spoke perfect English and were willing to help assist with anything we needed. There were lots of restaurants to choose from, so we didn't need to leave the hotel! We had a room with a city-view balcony, which was perfect for enjoying the Taipei 101 fireworks on New Year's Eve. The rooms are a good size and the bathroom luxurious. Definitely worth it for the experience.

We booked the Standard Room without a window - reception staff was very friendly! offered free crackers on New Years eve. Very accommodating to our needs and provides assistance. Loved the bathroom! Very spacious and has a good bath tub. With working hot/cold water - well kept and clean. Japanese type of toilets is a plus! Central location - within shopping area and MTR station for Zhongziao Dunhua is right behind the hotel. Within 20mins walk to Taipei 101 which is perfect for New Years when viewing the fireworks display.

Our room was quiet and clean with a window view of Taipei 101, room has 2 large beds comfortable for 4 adults, but overall room size is a bit on the small side, this is typical of hotel with this price range. Daily breakfast in the hallway offers limited selections of toasts, jams, butter, fruits, and porridge. Hotel location is very central to everything, MRT is just outside the building and it will take you wherever you need to go around Taipei. Lots of shopping, restaurants within walking distance.

The place is surrounded too with places to eat and there is a Family Mart on the same building as the hostel. Hostel is very economical and the facilities are clean.

There were many things to walk to from the hotel such as Taipei 101, Si-Si Nan Cun 44 South Village, the double Helix Eco Tower, malls and restaurants. Perfect location. The Citi Air Bus from Taoyuan Airport stops at the hotel. Easy and inexpensive travel from the airport to the hotel and back.
