Hotels near MRT Technology Building Station, Taipei

This was our first trip to Taipei, so we spent 3 nights here to recover from jet lag ~ travelling from North America enroute to Asia. I did a lot of research in finding this hotel, and it was well worth it: It is a great business hotel, close to transportation, and even though we do not speak Chinese, we could get here from the airport fine. It is a comfortable efficient hotel, with triple windows - effectively blocking street sounds, so we could rest well here recovering from jet lag. It was only 10 minutes walk to Da An Park, where we could enjoy morning walks ~~ it is incredible how well used this city Central Park is, with so many people doing there daily exercise there whether it be Tai Chi, Qi Gong, Ba Gua, jogging, or using the sporting equipment in the park. People are friendly, and welcomed us to join them in exercises... It is great that in the middle of a huge crowded Asian city, there is a nice park with lovely trees, paths, and water features. So this was a real highlight for us. The breakfasts at the hotel were amazing. Even for a vegetarian as I am, there were good choices to have a nutritious and ample meal there, including kelp and other sea vegetables. The breakfast staff were friendly and efficient, and it is a nice area to dine in. For carnivores, meat-eaters would be especially happy for the offerings they have here.

Great location. Only 1 minute walk to MRT Da-an station. 10 minutes MRT ride to the Taipei 101 tower and the shopping area.

Staffs are kind. The room is clean. There are some welcome snacks and drink.

The location was close to the MRT. We found it easy to get around the city. Large hotel with a huge variety of food at breakfast and dinner. The staff were really helpful and organised which made for a smooth visit. The rooms had good views of the city and were large and clean. The beds were comfy.

The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and were attentive and considerate when it came to booking the property in the first place (as some of the rooms didn't have any windows). I loved the character of the rooms, despite being very small, it was functional for a solo traveller who would be outside most of the day. It is also incredible value for money. Definitely worth it. Liberty Square is nearby and there are several convenience stores nearby. Daan Park is also a 10 minute walk if you wish for a nice walk in the evening.

The amenities in the room was fully equipped perhaps one of the best equipped in any hotel I stayed in Taiwan before this. Location is fantastic close to everything. Very comfortable room. Good breakfast selection

The room amenities are complete and thoughtfully designed. The hotel is located in a quiet area despite being close to the city, with several well-known restaurants and 24-hour supermarket nearby. The front desk staff are friendly, and although the hotel is small, it is very comfortable. It is well suited for business travelers and is definitely a place I would stay at again

Great location - near Da'an Park and an interesting shopping precinct. Well appointed hotel - excellent room; really good breakfast which included options for a Western palate. That was often not the case with other hotels in Taipei. Free coffee and snacks in the foyer was a bonus.

i liked everything about the hotel. the room decor, bedsheets, towels, slippers, bathrobe,the toto washlet toilet, free mini bar, cocktail hour every night, the extensive and delicious breakfast buffet and the excellent service. plus the location close to a metro station.

We stayed at Taipei Charming Hotel as a family of five and had a great experience. The room and bathroom were spacious, which made a big difference for our family, and we loved the view of Taipei 101. The all-you-can-eat snacks were a fun bonus, and the included round of cocktails was a nice touch. We even received a New Year loot bag, which felt thoughtful and festive. Service was excellent throughout our stay, and the buffet breakfast was filling. Overall, it is a comfortable and enjoyable stay—highly recommended for families.

Friendly staff, cozy environment, great location, nice touring activities.

The whole zen and minimalist concept was very healing, free kombuchas in mini fridge, yoga mats and meditation bowl in room was a big plus! Room layout is modern and cozy. Hand wash, shampoos smelled amazing! Short walk to Sogo and train station, lots of shops nearby.

Nothing to complain about. Room was very big. There was ample space for us to walk around even after we open our two 28" luggage and two hand carry luggage. Minutes walk to Taipei 101 and the train station. We didn't book the room with breakfast and didn't have time to visit the gym either, hence, unable to comment on both. Our room faces the direction of Songshan airport and we get to see planes landing and flying off. Magnificent view. And to the corner of the balcony of our room, we have the view of Taipei 101. They gave free pineapple tarts too, but, as we are lacto-vegetarian and there are no ingredients stated or dietary restriction stated, so we didn't give it a try.
