the staff was great! Emelda from the breakfast restaurant was the best! very responsible and nice and always happy and smiling even in times where it was very busy

The hotel was very clean, obviously because it is new. The staff was amazingly friendly and helpful. The location can't be beat and it's just around the corner from the old Houstons. I would definitely stay there again.

The room was great. Staff was super friendly and helpful. The live music was so relaxing in the lounge. Location allowed us to walk everywhere !

All good, staff were very friendly!

It's refurbished to a high standard, with wooden floors instead of carpets. We

Very nice staff, quiet and cozy room.

We met Nana at the front desk . She was really exceptional. Very courteous and genuinely welcoming . She went out of her way to advise on a place to get some food so late in the evening and made sure we had easy access to parking . She simply had the right attitude.

Staff are friendly and very helpful

The Truitt is a beautiful property and it’s obvious that its owners put great care into every detail. The location is within walking distance to the Nelson Atkins art museum and a short drive to the Country Club Plaza. Our room was stylish and comfortable and we will definitely be returning for future stays in KC.

Staff were great. Room was very comfortable.

The location was great. It’s an uphill stroll to the streetcar which takes you from UMKC/Plaza all the way to City Market. I barely needed to drive. Filling Station Coffee is right across the street. The room was very sizable for being described as cozy. That was a pleasant surprise. The greeting chocolates from Christopher Elbow were a tasty touch. The bathroom was roomy and the rain shower head was excellent. All furnishings were well thought out and comfortable. I know there were other guests but I never heard them. The room was very private and quiet.
