My partner and I often reminisce about this stay! Such great value for money. The rooms were beautiful and spacious, with an incredibly comfy bed. The continental breakfast was a nice touch, and the location was perfect — just outside the hustle and bustle with stunning views. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming.

Great location near the sea and with secure parking! Able to walk easily to the aquarium and Cannery Row area where there are plenty of shops, restaurants and bars. Nice touches included a complimentary cheese and wine tasting between 5-6pm and a nice buffet breakfast also included in the price. It is rare to find these in US hotels. Rooms were large and comfortable. Although there isn’t much of a view from the rooms it was a small price to pay for the quality of the hotel.

Nice hotel with an A1 location on Cannery Row in Monterey - great base from which to explore Monterey and the surrounding Monterey/Carmel area. Nice large rooms with all the amenities needed for a pleasant stay. We had a sea-view room and loved watching (and listening!) to the sea-lions and sea otters swimming just a few yards from our balcony.

Parking was convenient. The hostel was near Cannery Row, and the kitchen facilities allowed us to cook our own meals.Above all, the drive on Route 1 from the hostel was fantastic.

What a fantastic location! Right on the end of Cannery Row we could walk everywhere we wanted to: boat tours, aquarium, restaurants. The hotel is very grand, well kept, plenty of facilities including a gym and spa, and the views from the plaza are gorgeous. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful.

Location was great, convenient to walking around and exploring Cannery Row. Some might find it annoying to be right in the middle of crowds of tourists. However, I am used to it and found it great to access plenty of restaurants and shops. The hotel itself was very clean and inviting. All the staff we interacted with were very friendly and responsive.

The location is perfect! Close to the beach, close to all the restaurants and shops. Breakfast was free. There's am amazing coffee shop across the street. Right next to the Antique mall. Free parking is a plus, other hotels on cannery row charge at least $25 for parking

Amicable staff. We got a pack with edible goodies at the check-in. The room is OK, but the bathroom is too cold (we stayed during winter). Wlakable distance to Cannery RowUpon check-in, we were greeted by friendly staff and given a package of snacks. The room was satisfactory, but the bathroom felt too chilly during our winter stay. The hotel's distance from Cannery Row is walkable.

The location is perfect, right next to the rec trail, cannery row and the sea. You can see wild otters, seals and sea lions within a few minutes walk of the hotel. The room was big with a good shower and huge, comfortable bed. It also had a coffee maker, fridge, and microwave. There is cutlery, plates, and hot drinks (including hot water) available in the reception area.
