What a delightful place. Lovely hosts and great old fashion service. Breakfast was great and the area was lovely and peaceful. My wife wanted to stay another night, but it was booked out. Loved it.

The Dorm Hotel is located right outside Cornell University West Campus, it's often better to just park at the hotel and walk there yourself instead of fighting for parking spots on campus. The staff is extremely friendly and go above and beyond. The hotel and rooms are clean and have a homely feel.

My husband and I stayed at this property for one night while in town for a winery event. The location is very good to wineries, Cornell, and state parks. Although priced a little high for a Hampton Inn, I suspect that is due to its location near Cornell University. The king room was spacious, clean, and quiet. The buffet breakfast was typical for this hotel but there were plenty of options and the hot food was hot. We recommend this property if passing through the Ithaca area.

The price and location were great, we visited Cornell University. All of our allergies were acting up. While our room was clean it was just older furniture and maybe because of the carpets. We all were sneezing and eyes were itchy. We were disappointed that the listing said pool, we sought that out for our children and then when we arrived we found out the pool was out of service until further notice, that was disappointing as they were really looking forward to it. There was a hole in the wall from the door handle.

The hotel was located within a 10-minute walk of downtown, the bus station, and Cornell University. It's also right across the street from Wegman's and Barnes & Noble. The person who worked the front desk at night moved me to a room in the main building when he saw that my TV didn't work and that my room wasn't very clean on the day I checked in, which made me feel more comfortable.
