Disney California Adventure Highlights

Phi Phi Shark Point
Shark Point might sound intimidating, but it’s far from it. The leopard shark (who also sound scary) got its name from its funky spotted pattern, rather than its ferocity. In fact, they’re harmless to humans. At this diving spot, you’ll be able to see for yourself, as the leopard sharks laze around placidly below you. In the meantime, you can let the current do the legwork for you on this drift dive.
California Screamin’
The name says it all. This over one-mile-long steel rollercoaster is an adrenaline rush from start to finish. Unlike traditional slow-start rides, this coaster uses an electric booster to launch you right into the action, reaching 65 miles per hour in just four seconds. There’s no need to be shy about your fears, though – special “scream tubes” keep your yelling to a minimum!
Disney California Adventure Park
With 15-million visitors a year, the original Disneyland was so popular they had to build another theme park next door. This one recreates California’s past – from the Victorian-style architecture of Paradise Pier to 1930's Hollywood. You can relive those days through live 3D shows, thrilling fairground rides, and Buena Vista Street’s colorful cast of characters.
