Make sure they aren’t closing for any type of renovation on the lighthouse, we got there about 20 minutes before they closed it down without warning. The only drawback, everything about it was beautiful!
The trails are nice and the lighthouse we only went once in 25 years but inside you can walk up but very tight so if you do not like that do not waste money!! We have seen a whale , submarine and happiness right on the trail .
Obviously, you’ll want to go on a clear day. The walk up is narrow and steep but worth it. Although we didn’t visit, there was a nice cafe on the property. You can also view the lighthouse museum and go for a walk on the beach. The parking fee is $8 and the entrance to the lighthouse was about $12 per person.
Beautiful and historic lovely trails, abounds with wildlife and great museum. Nice little gift shop, we loved watching the surfers, the fisherman, the wild turkeys and the waves and walking the trails
Wear tennis shoes! The bar and restaurant next to the lighthouse was really fun. They had a fire going in the fireplace and a man singing while playing keyboard. Great ambiance while watching the ocean !
Very nice point but disappointed in the price to see it- cost my family of 4 $ 50.00 for a view- a donation is understable but that price seems extensive. Overheard another group commenting on the this price as well
