Loved the staff and the clean, bright and minimalist feel of the hotel and my room. Very quiet too. The bathroom was a great size and really clean.

Had river view and it was a great view, huge window as well to look out of. Staff were friendly and helpful, room was as expected, had King size bed which was huge and comfortable. It's a bit dated but it's an old building and I don't get bothered by any of that because it was comfortable and clean. Plenty of elevators so never had to wait. Rooms were quiet, traffic/trains were a barely audible muffle and the rooms AC was great. Was really happy with my stay.

The staff was excellent, Joshua treated us like he'd known us his whole life. The view was amazing and the location was superb. Everything was within a short stroll from the front door, from restaurants, entertainment, and PNC Park. We will definitely book again when back in Pittsburgh.

Beautiful historic hotel with walk ability to nearby concert and event centers! Many excellent restaurants nearby. The hotel staff were very accommodating! Enjoyed a delicious breakfast in The Terrace Room. Definitely will stay again!

Breakfast was great the chefs made delicious omelettes with a variety of fillings. The staff in the dining room and those doing room service were very friendly and welcoming. The location of the hotel is great and close to shops like Burlington which is great for those who like buying clothing with great discounts.

Bed was super comfortable. The hotel was in close proximity to PPG Arena.

All around great staff very friendly

We loved the welcoming, laid-back feel of this historical place. Our group of four had a room with four beds and our own bathroom across the hallway. Everything was clean and well-managed. There were snacks available at all times and all you would need for a healthy breakfast. We enjoyed the camaraderie of others staying at the place, mostly cyclists, and the hosts are delightful as well as providing information on the area. They were happy to store our luggage as we headed away to Cumberland to cycle back to the hotel. We stayed there again after our bike trip along the GAP.

Room was nice with a good view, all staff was very courteous and professional. We missed breakfast by 30 minutes but the manager was kind enough to make us to go breakfast boxes

Every member of staff we met were so nice. They took time to speak to us and help in every way possible. The ‘kickback’ in the evening is fantastic and the food was great! We cannot fault anything!!

Fabulous hotel in a great setting. Room was clean and quirky - great light setting Breakfast was a good choice with helpful team. The hotel was amazingly supportive when we left a mobile phone and had it shipped to us instantly - so grateful for their kindness.

Perfect view for the fireworks on Light Up Night! It was our anniversary and we have stayed here several times, so are familiar with the hotel. Would recommend to anyone coming to town for a night out or special occasion.

Delicious food, buffet excellent. Waiters superb and very friendly. Cook like family., dish to our taste. Superb clean eating areas. Nice cosy spots all around. Lobby like warm home make you forget sorrows. Came with emotional traumas, the place mainly the front itself got me healed. Walking round the building with its good vibes brought me back my strength. The church infront the hotel is very inspiring like the light against the darkness of life. Marriott itself has been like my healing centre with the place itself, the staff mean the girls at front desk like angels. Feel like home here, everyone ever ready to help and good guidance as what to do or visit around. I was very right to choose this hotel.

I came to Pittsburgh with my friend to attend the renowned Anthrocon—the largest convention of its kind. Courtyard Pittsburgh Downtown was just a 5-minute walk from the David L. Lawrence Convention Center, making it an ideal choice for our extended stay during the event. The hotel staff were friendly, helpful, and incredibly welcoming. My friend and I felt truly appreciated when we checked in and mentioned we were visiting as 'furries' and tourists. We were very happy with our room—it was spacious, spotless, and quiet, offering the perfect environment to relax after long, exciting days at the convention. The housekeeping team was attentive and kind, consistently keeping our room clean and comfortable. The Bistro on-site served a variety of nutritious breakfasts and delicious coffee. I appreciated the range of choices and thoroughly enjoyed every meal there.
