Lots to do while there, not just standing and looking at water and buildings. Be prepared for fun for children and adults. Amusement rides, museum along with plenty of eats and relax with beverages to music in The Gardens
Navy pier is very nice they have a lot to offer I love the Ferris wheel Comfortable shoes would be a plus there’s a lot of walking They are boat Rides trips and tours lots of things to do for adults as well as children’s restaurants Fudge stores
I loved this place. You can go for a boat tour, parks, food, fun, beach is right away. Everything in one place. Great environment for family, solo travelers, couples. It’s a must do for sure in Chicago.
Before covid Chicago was an amazing place to be; so much to see, do and eat. Soooo much history and the 19th century architecture is beyond beautiful. Hopefully some day I will be able to walk Michigan Ave, Navy Pier and all the amazing old neighborhoods again without the mask police around. :-)
This is a great location to enjoy Lake Michigan as well as many restaurants and activities for all ages. It can get very busy especially when it is cold and everyone is inside keeping warm. There is a lot of parking else Navy Pier can be reached by the bus which drops you off outside the main entrance. Also a great place to look back and obtain some Chicago skyline shops. If you are looking for Chicago related souvenir gift shops - then you will find plenty at Navy Pier. You can anything from T-shirts, magnets, postcards and much more.
An attractive site with an indoor shopping and eating area. The grounds are lovely but the indoor shopping and eating is a bit mediocre. They do feature a variety of outdoor events in the summer such as movies an concerts.
The room was clean modern and well appointed. The bathroom was spacious and definitely remodeled. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel, both were excellent. We drove into Chicago and parked near the hotel with a fair rate. I was unaware the hotel offered close parking with in-out privileges. I may use that next time. The location is excellent. We were able to walk to the Navy Pier.
Location in River North is good -- plenty of restaurants, about a walkable mile straight west of Navy Pier. Great kitchen in room, good bed in bedroom. AC worked well, lighting good. 19th floor pool smallish and loaded with chlorine but kids liked it. Breakfast food below a Hampton but okay. Car retrieval from hotel parking was quick.
The location was terrific! Right in the heart of the Magnificent Mile and Northwestern Univerity Chicago Campus. I got to go swimming at Ohio Street Beach, which was just down the street, and the hotel was also near the Navy Pier - everything was within walking distance or a quick Lyft away.
The location of this Hyatt was perfect! It was close to Navy Pier and right off of Michigan Ave. We were able get places on foot. There is also a bike/scooter rental dock on the back side of the hotel. That was amazing for when we wanted to rent a scooter to get around town.
We were 28th floor and close to everything! We were able to walk to boat rides, theater, Miracle Mile, Millenium Park,Navy Pier and Restaurants. Elevators were quick. Enjoyed being in a hotel building with archeticual significance. Water bottle availability was a nice touch.
Streeterville, Chicago
The location is perfect…short walk to Michigan Ave, the Loop, Navy Pier, millennium Park. Nice residential feel to the area, a lot of newer buildings. We walked to dinner, shopping and entertainment. Apartment is nicely furnished and has great views!
I loved the location. I liked the old feel of the hotel building itself. Staff was friendly. Wonderful views of the river. very close to shopping, restaurants, navy pier and the river. Everything was a short walk or train ride away.
Really nice Hotel, in a perfect position, close to restaurants and stores. Close to the metro station and at a walkable distance from the Navy Pier (we walked all the way there). Friendly and professional staff.
Great view of the lake from the hotel. Very convenient to walk around, especially to the Navy Pier.
The location of this hotel is fantastic, right between Soldier Field and Navy Pier.
