The room was clean and pretty basic: fridge, bed, and a chair. Thankfully the inside of the room didn't smell like cigarette smoke even if the hallways did. The shared bathrooms were clean and since I was only staying for one night I opted not to shower at the hotel. Check-in and check-out were quick and the people working the reception desk were both very pleasant. A solid budget spot for short-term stays with easy access to Union Station and so many restaurants in the Arts District and Little Tokyo!

The hotel was within walking distance to Union Station, which was great. We came there from L.A.X., after a 14 hour flight from Australia. The price was excellent. We slept until 12 noon. The front desk said a half hour late check out was fine. We were great full for this extra time. The staff let us leave our bags so we could go for a walk through Chinatown. So much going on in the area, which was great.

Location was fantastic- walking distance to the Broad art museum and Grand Central Market. We walked to the hotel from Union Station and then walked to the Metro or a bus when needed.
