Staff and cleaning crew were always very friendly and helpful! While I was staying there the manager was in the process of upgrading the fridges and other facilities within to a slightly larger size. Very welcome for longer stays in hotels.

Ramada Limited was great. Hot shower. Comfy big bed. Plenty of good options from the Korean BBQ next door to the Golden Wok around the corner. CVS on the corner and a Tim Hortons across the road ideal for coffee and breakfast. Catch the 15 bus near CVS to get to North Military Station and easy access to the cute Eastbound and Westbound trains so you can get Westbound to the Waterside and Elizabeth River Trail, the Nauticus and USS Wisconsin, the Chrysler Museum of Art and Fort Norfolk. Laundry behind the Shell gas station was superb if like me you're a solo traveller with not a lot of clothes. I really enjoyed my stay!
