Beautiful venue on the Golden Mile, centrally located with lots of eateries & restaurants around (Suncoast complex) which can be reached easily and safely. The property offers excellent value for money! Large rooms with optional sea view, comfortable, well-equipped and spotless clean. The staff are all - and always - smiling and helpful, definitely committed to visitors' safety and well-being. Breakfast is just SPLENDID, indeed one of the best we've ever had in our many travels, served on the top floor of the hotel with stunning sea views. We loved it - and even more the warm and friendly atmosphere created and maintained by the staff - a thrilling experience! I would say that the human factor is a major asset in this hotel and we did regret having to go. After almost one week there (4 nights first, then 2 more nights - June 1-3) it is beyond doubt that we'd choose Belaire Suites Hotel should we stay in Durban again. CONGRATULATIONS!

We stayed in 3 separate locations in Durban with a similar cost over a two week period and this was our favourite. It was very clean (unlike the other 2 locations, we didn't see a single cockroach!!), the property had secure off road parking with a gate that was operated by staff, and crockery provided for breakfast. There was easy access by car to central Durban and a short walk on foot to the Botanic Gardens. The staff were helpful in advising us where/where not to walk and at what times it was safe to walk. Our room had a nice view of Durban and the sea in the distance. We will definately consider staying at this hotel again.

What annoyed me the most was that people working in hotels...

What annoyed me the most was that people working in hotels and tourists' attractions do not want to speak any other language but Zulu. When you talk to them in English, they either ignore you or give an attitude.

I enjoyed fully.

I enjoyed fully. I loved visibility of metro police along the beach to affirm our safety. The food courts were within reach, doctors gore emergencies were within reach. I loved everything about our stay ❤️ 💙 ♥️ 💕 💛 💓 ❤️ 💙 ♥️ 💕 💛 💓 ❤️ I can recommend to anyone who wants to have a beautiful holiday. Suncoast food court beautiful

Durban is a nice place to visit since my school days ,I enjoyed it and I'm still going to visit it the only thing or place that ,I can't stand is the main city as it seems unsafe ,late or after 6 in the evenings as town ,looks scary and unsafe when with family and kids.

The road users are inconsiderate especially when they see a...

The road users are inconsiderate especially when they see a different car registration from another province. Its better to visit private beaches or book the beach front hotels go avoid traveling around. I like the availability of shopping Malls, you get spoilt for choice. There is a vast number of fun activities both for kids and adults; Ushaka Marine, Boat rides, just to mention a few.

The weather was great, the people were warm and friendly.

The weather was great, the people were warm and friendly. We visited Ushaka marine and we enjoyed the dolphin show and tour of the aquarium amongst other things. Umhlanga Beach provided a quiet, relaxing area to play and have fun by the beach, the nearby restaurants at Umhlanga rocks provided great food options - even for children and everyone was very warm and friendly. The arcade, go karts and gaming areas at the nearby mall provided other fun entertainment for the kids.

Great central but quiet location. Very close to the main Umhlanga attractions but a reasonable distance from central Durban too. Room was clean and spacious with a comfortable bed and very friendly staff. The view of the ocean from the dining room is amazing and the breakfast is served hot, fresh and is quite filling. The staff is also very kind and friendly and are on the ball with everything they do.

The friendliness and helpfulness from the Cleaning Staff, the Receptionist, the Porter, the Waiters to the Manager was fantastic. The Capital Pearls Hotel is centrally located and within walking distance to the beach, Umhlanga Rocks Whalebone Pier and restaurants. The view from my son’s room to where the super cars were parked at Oceans Mall was incredible.
