It was a birthday gift to a family member and I mentioned the special occasion in my booking. My family were excited to receive a welcome basket of goodies for their birthday and a room that was sea facing. The Manager called them personally to invite them to a complimentary dinner but they were full from the delicious goody basket. They were then offered a complimentary breakfast and were very happy with the range of vegetarian foods that was provided to cater for them. The hotel more than exceeded our expectation in terms of making it special for the family member. Will definitely stay at Coastlands when we visit South Africa again.

Awesome location, close to the ocean. Great shopping and restaurants within a stone’s throw. We were in a sea view room that provided spectacular views of the Indian Ocean.

Welcome drink, all the staff were very kind, I was upgraded at no additional cost, they didn't have a problem sending up breakfast from the buffet, the room service was timely, the food delicious

I was with my friend, and we were celebraing her birthday. First of all the location is perfect for any kind of celebration as its on the beach ⛱️. The service is out of this world. The staff made it a point that my friend had the best birthday, and went all out to send complimentary bubbly and birthday card to our room. They made it very special....The food is excellent 👌. They have complimentary shuttle to drive safely within 5 km of the hotel, anytime of the day...5' star shuttle for that matter...Oyster Box is indeed the pinnacle of luxury holidaying, I would recommend it to anyone who wants luxury living. I will definitely be back.
