My days Danta Corcovado Lodge were filled with slow, mindful walks through the dense forest. Always wet — either from rain or heat — and always wondering what marvel creatures might reveal itself next. I lost all sense of time... and loved it. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, and I felt completely comfortable and welcome as a solo traveller. A truly special place for anyone who longs to reconnect with wild nature.

Sunset Lodge far exceeded our expectations for this moderately priced accomodation. The view from our casita (room 3) over Drake Bay and the sunset was spectacular. We were surrounded by colourful birds and felt incredibly comfortable in this well-equipped place. Not only was there a coffee machine but also various kitchenware that allowed us to enjoy the tropical fruits on our terrace. Josue is a very friendly, laid back, and helpful host who helped us arrange seamless transportation between Sierpe, Drake Bay, and Sirena Ranger Station in the nearby Corcovado National Park.

The owners/ family was super friendly. They were really cute and supportive. Did breakfast early in the morning when we needed it, picked us up and dropped us off from the boat. They are really the big plus. The room was average, bathroom is not the newest.

The hosts are welcoming, the grounds are absolutely stunning, and the chocolate tour with Jason was the most informative of its kind that I've ever done (and I've done a few!). It's actually far more than just a chocolate tour - you'll learn about so many other interesting things they are doing there. Special shout out to Noah, who went above and beyond to meet any request. Thank you! Oh, and breakfast is fantastic - Jutta's bread is not to be missed!

The location, the house itself and the family that runs it. The road to reach it was a bit challenging but once arrived….wow! The garden is amazing! So well maintained and beautifully designed. A river functions as an outdoor swimming pool. Angelika and her team were utterly sweet and generous. We only had 2 days and felt sorry for that. We did a mangrove boat tour and went horse riding. Both great experiences.
