Really friendly, hard working and down to earth family who want to make your stay as good as possible. The location is amazing and you can truly disconnect if you'd like. You can also find a balance and enjoy being in the middle of nowhere by the sea yet have wifi to still call your family or do some work. It's the best balance. The cabins are right on the beach so we spent most of our time chilling outside on the beds watching the sea, listening to music and sometimes cooling off by going for a quick dip. It's like a little disconnected paradise.

Located in Mantanani Island, GreenHouse Lodge provides accommodation with access to a garden. The property boasts reusable plastic materials, using energy-saving lighting and conserving rainwater. Best location surrounded by nature! Eating delicious food while listening to the sound of the ocean and spending time with the friendly staff is the ultimate relaxing experience. thank you so much everything!!!

Set atop a 100 metre hill overlooking the Kinabatangan Forest Reserve, The Last Frontier Boutique Resort is located in Bilit, and is located a 2 hour drive from the beautiful Sandakan. one word: amazing! if you had the chance I would recommend to book this place! Jason Grent and the staff are very friendly, they have just 4 rooms so they take care of all their people! this is a true experience into Borneo wild life…we had a lucky meeting with an orangutan nearby the rooms! the eco resort is located up to a hill but is not difficult to go upstairs since you are incredibly absorbed in the nature! they organised everything perfectly: 2 boat trips and one trekking up to a hill (about 2,5h). You have enough time to rest. They also care a lot about our transfer at the check out to Semporna, we could not ask for more!! The food was also good, even if for me a little bit too “western”, banana pancakes and nasi goreng were special!! rooms are big essential and comfy. this experience is worth to do, just remind the Jungle itself is a little bit noisy special during the night, we slept well anyways. thanks again! I would come again!

We had an amazing time at this lodge! The people working and living there were extremely friendly to us. Very authentic people and place! Especially our fantastic guide Mark was one of the best guides we’ve ever had! He just smiled and made us laugh all the time! We will miss the lodge and Mark’s amazing trips at the river! Also good food and Wifi. Big recommendation!

Large, comfy beds and clean bathrooms. Food is of good standard, and location is amazing, being in-between the RDC and Orangutan and Sunbear Sanctuaries (as long as you are happy being in the middle of nowhere). Good wifi connection and signal, and amazing staff members

Nulu View Cabin ligger i Kundasang i Sabah, og tilbyr overnatting med tilgang til gratis privat parkering. Not only was the view from the room amazing, but the lady checking us in and out was so kind and helpful.

Maglami-lami Water House tilbyr overnatting i Semporna og har en restaurant. Fra boenhetene har du utsikt over sjøen. Det er eget bad med bidé, gratis badeprodukter og tøfler i alle boenhetene. Everything was perfect – from our stunning sea-view room to the warm, welcoming staff who made us feel at home. Waking up to that turquoise water every morning was magical! The food was fresh and tasty, with lots of variety. We loved the island hopping and snorkeling – swimming with turtles and exploring vibrant reefs was unforgettable. Relaxing, beautiful, and full of adventures – we didn’t want to leave! Can’t wait to return.

Tampat do Aman har gratis WiFi og ligger i Kudat. Du kan benytte deg av hagen, terassen og restauranten. Howard was an exceptional host. From the minute we arrived, he made us feel settled and showed us around the area. He offered to bring us every morning to wherever we wanted to go along the tip of Borneo. The jungle camp itself is so special and there is a great vibe amongst the other travellers. We would have loved to stay longer but we needed to catch the bus to Sandakan (and they don’t go very often!)
