The place itself has one of the best views of the lake, and the rooms, while small, are very comfortable and well-designed.

Surrounded by a lush garden, Mallin Colorado Ecolodge offers wooden cottages overlooking General Carrera Lake. Incredible location, nice (and warm) communal areas and fantstic food each night prepared by chef Venecia. Portions are huge so easy to share meals/starters/mains. On the property itself there’s an incredibly rewarding hike with some of the best views we had on our trip (but you need to walk all the way to the end!). Staff are delightful - a special mention for Belén who is the sweetest!

Very quiet and green location, the breakfast and restaurant is excellent. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Luis, the owner, was kind enough to make a special tea for our road trip as I wasn't feeling well. Great hospitality.
