We loved our stay! We arrived later on the day and were immediately greeted by Miguel, the host who explained everything for us and was always a great help. The cabin was amazing! The views of the lake are breathtaking, the interior is very cozy and we felt right at home. The beds were super comfortable, in the little kitchenette, you find everything for a basic dinner and the wifi was working smoothly. The bathroom was very clean and tasteful as the whole apartment!

The hosts made dinner each night and it was some of the best food we had on Carretera Austral!

Surrounded by a lush garden, Mallin Colorado Ecolodge offers wooden cottages overlooking General Carrera Lake. Incredible location, nice (and warm) communal areas and fantstic food each night prepared by chef Venecia. Portions are huge so easy to share meals/starters/mains. On the property itself there’s an incredibly rewarding hike with some of the best views we had on our trip (but you need to walk all the way to the end!). Staff are delightful - a special mention for Belén who is the sweetest!

Patagonia is a luxurious mountain lodge set against the panoramic backdrop of the snow-capped Andes. It offers 4 exclusive suites with free Wi-Fi and balconies with views of Coyhaique Valley. Comfortable & luxurious. Very helpful & friendly staff. Amazing dinner and best breakfast Secluded wilderness location with only a short taxi ride to town. Hope we can return someday.

I like their story. They just bought the property a year ago and are fixing it up...and doing an amazing job. Nice to see. The place was quiet and had a rustic charm to it. Breakfast was superb. Luis, the owner, was kind enough to make a special tea for our road trip as I wasn't feeling well. Great hospitality.
