If we go back to Puerto Viejo, this is our go to hotel. Clean, Comfortable, good location (if you have a car or motorcycle), offers design and attention to details. We stayed 3 nights and it was the nicest place we stayed in our 10 day trip throughout Costa Rica. Moreover, they have the BEST breakfast ever.

Located 300 metres from Blanca, Bungalows Aché Cahuita provides accommodation with a garden, a terrace and a shared kitchen for your convenience. Located on the edge of Cahuita national park. We saw the same number of animals in the garden as in the park. The bungalow had everything we needed and even more, including fridge and coffee machine. There is a fully equipped kitchen for guests use. The staff was very helpful. The place is in a short walking distance from the restaurant area.

Set in Puerto Viejo in the Limon region and Manzanillo Beach reachable within 400 metres, Congo Bongo EcoVillage Costa Rica offers accommodation with free WiFi, BBQ facilities, a garden and free... Everything! It was like we were in the jungle on our own, the houses are very well set out so you really feel like no one else is around. Walking through the jungle to the beach was also a great experience and our house seemed to come with a dog that showed us the way to the beach and then to the little town area which was so cute... of a night the howler monkeys were so noisy but what an experience!

Playa Negra Guesthouse is located in Cahuita, right in front of the beach. All units feature a seating area. Some units have a terrace and/or balcony with pool or garden views. Wonderful property and owners. A garden oasis. Steps from the beach and a quiet road. 10 min walk to a number of restaurants and good grocery store. We had a cabin and it was wonderful and fully equipped. Great pool, quiet garden, lots of animals. Marise very responsive and offered helpful advice. We’re returning!

Set 80 metres from Negra, Playa Grande Lodge & Tree House offers a garden, a terrace and accommodation with a balcony and free WiFi. We stayed in a bungalow which was big, new and clean with a nice garden view. The owner was really nice and served us breakfast at the terrace in the morning.
