The location was very beautiful. The common area and the pool were amazing. We went there for 4 days during our honeymoon. I highly recommend this location. And oh my god, the breakfast was one of the tastiest I have ever had at the Oasis Fusion Resturant.

This place was an absolute highlight of our stay in Costa Rica. The cabins are located in a beautiful garden right on the beach. The surroundings are full of life with birds, sloths and monkeys in the trees all around.

We liked everything and were very happy with our choice. The little house in the middle of the forest/jungle was amazing. It was so quiet. Only at 4 am the hawley monkeys were waking us up with their funny voices. Bryan recommend us a good place to eat dinners at Selvin in Punta Uva and we were in love in that place too. Having a car really helps. You can visit all these playas and a must see that is Cahuita NP.

This is a correction of an earlier review, which for some reason picked up my unfavourable review of another establishment PLEASE ignore the previous one, which hopefully will have dropped off. I stayed three nights. The Ecolodge is about 2 miles outside Cahuita, the last half mile unpaved. You can get there with 2WD but may be more comfortable with 4WD, if only for clearance. The Ecolodge consists of a central reception/breakfast/dining room, with numerous nearby cabins. Although conveniently close to Cahuita, it is elevated and truly in the depths of the rain-forest, supplemented by careful planting to generate a delightful, colourful surround. The view from my balcony was idyllic, and the sound of the howler monkeys when they passed unforgettable; as was lying in bed listening to a tropical thunderstorm. The spring-fed natural swimming pool is a delight, especialy after a sweaty day exploring Cahuita. It is a lodge, not a hotel, so there is no restaurant. Breakfast is delicious, and cooked hot on an individual basis; and dinner is available if you warn them in the morning or the night before. Staff attend as required, but the owner/manager lives on site and is always available (via WhatApp if she is in town). They were very helpful, arranging massages and an excellent English-speaking and knowledgable guide. The room itself was clean and spacious, with a good shower.

Located on the edge of Cahuita national park. We saw the same number of animals in the garden as in the park. The bungalow had everything we needed and even more, including fridge and coffee machine. There is a fully equipped kitchen for guests use. The staff was very helpful. The place is in a short walking distance from the restaurant area.

Congo Bongo EcoVillage Costa Rica ligger i Puerto Viejo i Limón, med Manzanillo-stranden bare 4 minutters gange unna. Everything! It was like we were in the jungle on our own, the houses are very well set out so you really feel like no one else is around. Walking through the jungle to the beach was also a great experience and our house seemed to come with a dog that showed us the way to the beach and then to the little town area which was so cute... of a night the howler monkeys were so noisy but what an experience!

Playa Negra Guesthouse is located in Cahuita, right in front of the beach. All units feature a seating area. Some units have a terrace and/or balcony with pool or garden views. We stayed with Marise & Pierre at Playa Negra Guesthouse in Room 4 and Room 1. Room 4 has the advantage of a balcony overlooking the tropical gardens and Room 1 is much bigger with a little from garden and sitting area. We loved both. There’s a fab pool, lots of wildlife to spot in the garden that Pierre plants to encourage them … and a sparkly black sand beach only a few steps away. We saw the largest iguanas here of anywhere we’ve seen in Costa Rica. Marise is a nice person, witty and extremely approachable, helping us out of a tight spot with our flight. She is the epitome of efficiency and happy to help with arrangements and advice. Clean, comfortable and competitively priced. Highly recommended.

Situated 5 km awayfrom Cahuita in the Limon Region and 18 km from Puerto Viejo, Passion Fruit Lodge boasts an outdoor pool and views of the tropical garden. Cocles is 20 km from the property. An exceptionally beautiful lodge. The two hosts, Delphine and Bert, have created a little paradise. Everything is absolutely beautiful - the garden, the pool in the middle of the jungle, the houses.... The hosts are very nice, helpful and funny. It is close to the very pleasant village of Cahuita. Thank you for the wonderful time with you. We would love to come back. ❤️

We had an excellent stay at Playa Grande Lodge. The grounds are lovely with plenty of wildlife. We were really lucky as we even saw a sloth in the garden! Our appartment was beautiful, clean and had everything we needed. The fact that the hotel is beachfront was a big bonus. We loved going for a morning walk on Playa Grande to watch the sunrise. And finally the hosts, Gianluca and Mia, are wonderfull: very welcoming and they gave us great tips for exploring the area. Would highly reccomend!
