The location was very beautiful. The common area and the pool were amazing. We went there for 4 days during our honeymoon. I highly recommend this location. And oh my god, the breakfast was one of the tastiest I have ever had at the Oasis Fusion Resturant.

This place was an absolute highlight of our stay in Costa Rica. The cabins are located in a beautiful garden right on the beach. The surroundings are full of life with birds, sloths and monkeys in the trees all around.

Our host, he was great and friendly and showed us around the garden and helped us spot a couple snakes, sloth and other creatures. The garden was stunning. He also cooked us up a yummy breakfast. For me the area was great with a car, it's an hour walk from the town along the beach. A bit out the way without a car.

We liked everything and were very happy with our choice. The little house in the middle of the forest/jungle was amazing. It was so quiet. Only at 4 am the hawley monkeys were waking us up with their funny voices. Bryan recommend us a good place to eat dinners at Selvin in Punta Uva and we were in love in that place too. Having a car really helps. You can visit all these playas and a must see that is Cahuita NP.

Bungalows Aché Cahuita ligger 3 minutters gange fra Blanca-stranden og har en hage, en terrasse og et felleskjøkken. Både WiFi og privat parkering er tilgjengelig gratis på Bungalows Aché Cahuita. Close to the nature, calm. Could see many animals just passing by and living their life from the bungalow porch.

Congo Bongo EcoVillage Costa Rica ligger i Puerto Viejo i Limón, med Manzanillo-stranden bare 4 minutters gange unna. The art inspired inside out houses are in the Jungle with monkeys, sloths, butterflies, birds, fireflies and little deer things (Agouti perhaps). Mostly sat in rocking chairs and watched the wildlife, like glamping in a wildlife park (monkey picture below was taken from the house). Picture perfect (and quiet) Caribbean beach is a one end of the site, good for a swim, little board / body surf and watching pelicans fish. Walking up the beach to Punta Uva (3km) for lunch, wildlife spotting and an optional snorkel on the reef was a daily activity. Moca Beach restaurant, nearby up the beach, is very good in the evening (bring a torch - iPhone torch works). Uber is in the area, they prefer cash. Support from staff (Masai) was great, especially when the rental car went kaput. Lots of info given on where to shop, visit, trips and wildlife. Congo Bongo was by far the best accommodation / location / experience during our trip in Costa Rica.

Playa Negra Guesthouse is located in Cahuita, right in front of the beach. All units feature a seating area. Some units have a terrace and/or balcony with pool or garden views. Fantastic place with a beautiful garden, plenty of wildlife! The hosts are super welcoming, taking their time to show you around and help spot the animals (sloths, toucans, lizards etc). The pool is also very nice as well as the beach just across the street - it has shade, more sloths and feels safe for kids. We would have happily spent more time there!

Situated 5 km awayfrom Cahuita in the Limon Region and 18 km from Puerto Viejo, Passion Fruit Lodge boasts an outdoor pool and views of the tropical garden. Cocles is 20 km from the property. Can’t wait to return! The Hosts and staff were so welcoming and friendly, we enjoyed our stay so much. It was great to have our own mini kitchen for cooking food (stove, fridge, sink, dishes). We loved the hammocks, the pool, pickleball court and gazebo for yoga. Short drive to the beach in Cahuita. We listened to birds and howler monkeys every day on out porch and saw lots of cute lizards. Great place to get away and relax in nature.

We had an excellent stay at Playa Grande Lodge. The grounds are lovely with plenty of wildlife. We were really lucky as we even saw a sloth in the garden! Our appartment was beautiful, clean and had everything we needed. The fact that the hotel is beachfront was a big bonus. We loved going for a morning walk on Playa Grande to watch the sunrise. And finally the hosts, Gianluca and Mia, are wonderfull: very welcoming and they gave us great tips for exploring the area. Would highly reccomend!
