It's truly in the middle of nowhere. There are just 3 cabins and a Sauna hut. Complete privacy, silence and beautiful trails to walk. One has to get the water from the hole in the frozen river few meters from the sauna. It's a bare bones wilderness cabin experience yet very cozy and comfortable. The staff is super friendly and answer all your questions. There is a wood fireplace in the cabin and the wood is provided. The huskies are nearby. They howl when the Aurora's are out.

Authentic cabin, you have entire unit for yourself. Newly furnished kitchenette is fully functional. Cozy sauna and a big fireplace. Drying cupboard is very useful. The hosts are super helpful and are ready to assist you during your stay. All essentials are there, everything that you may need. I loved their attention to details: there are spare batteries, nice pot to cook poronkäristys, and even cinnamon for rice porridge. Another aspect: we were happy we booked a final cleaning (and I recommend it to other guests), it saves you time and worries in the morning of check-out.

Bare 16 kilometer fra Arktikum vitenskapssenter og museum ligger Aava Riverside. Dette overnattingsstedet har en hage, et privat strandområde og tilgang til gratis WiFi. It is very cozy and well equipped. Very clean and looks very new. It felt somehow a bit like home. We would come back for sure!

Elves Cabin Wagon ligger i Rovaniemi, 16 minutters gange fra Julenisselandsbyens postkontor og 1,1 kilometer fra Santa Claus Village - Christmas House. I really love this place so much. It was really a wonderful place to stay, our host Olli was incredibly kind during our stay. We stayed after Christmas till New Years Eve. We were so lucky we saw northern lights right outside the wagon when we went out to the house for shower. The cabin wagon was nice and cozy. A small toliet inside and sink to wash hands. Inside the cabin wagob the floor is heated. Even during the stay we met the extremely cold weather of -25 °C , Olli had more heaters in the cabin wagon. It was nice and warm. We even had a special experience that on the night of new years eve the santa claus village had fireworks. And when we returned to the place, only a 5-10min walk from the santa village(this was great as well!) , Olli and the neighbors had some beautiful fireworks in front of the house. Love everything about this place, if I have the chance to travel here again, I would like you to stay here once again!

It was such a nice experience. The loft was comfortable, with a nice fireplace. It looked really authentic. And the sauna and jacuzzi were really nice for relaxing.

Ranua Haistila Retreat with Elegant Views & Sauna near Rovaniemi ligger i Ranua i Finske Lappland, med Ranua dyrepark bare 16 kilometer unna. Excellent house with all the amenities for a great stay and close to Ranua Zoo if you have a car.
