This was the most extraordinary place we’ve ever stayed! I almost don’t want to write this review for fear that it will get so booked out that we’ll never be able to come back! It was such a unique design and experience: a real piece of artwork, but also functional, homely and comfortable. It is so peaceful to stay here as it’s nestled in the jungle with insane views of the forest, ocean and islands. We expected there to be bugs in the room and too much noise from the jungle but it wasn’t the case at all — plus the air conditioner cools down the space quickly. It’s a new resort so everything is clean, perfect, fresh and new. It’s lovely to shower with views of the ocean. The breakfasts are incredible. The private pool is gorgeous and the water is like silk! My partner loved the place so much that on the first day he decided to propose to me here. With the help of the staff, two days later we had the dream engagement! They went above and beyond, with the help of nearby Amok Sunset restaurant. What a dream! Thank you Marilea — all the incredible staff for and the owner, Tanguy, who designed it — and greeted us warmly and made sure our stay (and my birthday proposal) was absolutely perfect.

A very warm and cozy place to stay. The hotel has a calm, comfortable atmosphere and feels truly welcoming. Everything was clean and pleasant, making it easy to relax and enjoy the stay. The location is excellent — Kelingking Beach is only a 5-minute walk away, which is incredibly convenient and makes the experience even more special. Special thanks to staff at the reception — he was kind, attentive, and genuinely helpful. His friendly attitude made us feel at home from the very first moment. We left with only warm memories and would happily stay here again.

When I return to Ubud, I will stay here.

We stayed in a charming and uniquely well-preserved and clean wooden house. The staff were consistently helpful while also respecting our privacy. The food was of good quality.

Rice fields, little ponds, pretty grass, good hosts.

Gorgeous surroundings and so much nature. Excellent place for a personal retreat and to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. This was our second time here and we will be back! Each time we stayed for over a week and found that to be an excellent time to really settle into ourselves and our personal spiritual practices. Beautiful walks, great staff, very accommodating. Being lulled to sleep each night by the sound of the jungle is absolutely exquisite. The energy here is extremely healing and rejuvenating. Highly recommended! Thank you Oemah Tepi Sawah!
