The property is clean and well kept, the room was spacious and super comfortable. It’s not a big hotel but that meant it was nice and quiet. The pool was fantastic as well. The staff were absolutely amazing, they were so lovely and helpful, which made the stay even better. Also the included breakfast was wonderful and adds such good value to the stay. Would highly recommend this place. The location was great, it’s a 15-20 min walk to Ubud center but the street it is on has great restaurants and convenience stores so it’s quiet but you’re not far from anything you might need!

Despite reading many reviews before booking, and being inspired by one in particular to stay for three nights, I still felt a bit uncertain during the journey. But the moment I arrived, those worries faded. Here, I felt once again the purest form of human trust. Even without speaking the same language, deep connection was possible—through a gesture, a glance, a shared smile. The atmosphere is incredibly calming, and the food gave me real energy, not just physically but emotionally. To be honest, I find it hard to put this experience fully into words. Sanda feels different from anywhere else in Bali. This is not a place for passive tourism—it gently asks something of you too. If you're looking for a space to be still, to read, to think, to meditate, or to unplug from social media and constant feedback, this is a rare and beautiful choice. I spent three days here reading and reflecting, allowing my life to pause. My conversations with Harry gave me a deeper understanding of plants—their fruits, their rhythms, their stories. December is durian season, and I know I will return. Time spent here feels like a gift. I hope you give yourself one too.

Made and his entire staff took excellent care of us during our stay. Our bed was the most comfortable bed we have had on our entire trip. Breakfast was cooked fresh & reasonably priced. The pool was a relaxing start /end to our day. There was a variety of spa services available and they arranged for them come to the villa on the day/time we picked. He was able to recommend delicious places to eat dinner and even arranged transport for all of the places we wanted to go. Exeptional services, we highly recommend staying.

We stayed in a charming and uniquely well-preserved and clean wooden house. The staff were consistently helpful while also respecting our privacy. The food was of good quality.

When seeing this hotel, I couldn’t help but scream in awe. The interior is incredibly spacious, clean, and the staff are very friendly. You can truly feel the jungle vibes and nobody disturbs this peace. It’s a perfect place to relax. I will definitely revisit next year.

This place is so peaceful and so relaxing in the middle of the green nature. I really liked to wake up in the morning with daylight and field view. They really did an amazing job to make you feel so welcome. The hosts are so lovely people and very familiar, they will help you with everything you need. The breakfast is excellent and I tried for the first time pisang goreng (fried banana) the best in my opinion. I could also use a motorbike to go to jatiluwih rice fields it is only 20 min driving

If you are looking for something special, then you have found it here. Unique, loving nature, super loving and helpful team (Dewi, Putu..). They helped me with my arrival and also with my departure (organized a cab back to Ubud). It was heavenly, the wooden hut is very special, you can tell by the way it looks.
