Didn’t expect the room come with little pantry with ricecooker, water kettle, and stove to cook. Plates, cups and utensil for cooking also provided. But they only allow Halal food ya. There is fridge also. Room is very clean and love the sweet pink color room😆 pool is not too deep and have lovely warm temperature. This place is well maintain.

Really friendly, hard working and down to earth family who want to make your stay as good as possible. The location is amazing and you can truly disconnect if you'd like. You can also find a balance and enjoy being in the middle of nowhere by the sea yet have wifi to still call your family or do some work. It's the best balance. The cabins are right on the beach so we spent most of our time chilling outside on the beds watching the sea, listening to music and sometimes cooling off by going for a quick dip. It's like a little disconnected paradise.

Fred, the owner, built this Ecolodge himself with a clear mission: to be 100% sustainable. Every aspect of the property reflects that goal—everything is green, circular, and thoughtfully designed. The lodge is impressively clean, well-maintained, and full of character. The rooms are spacious, freshly renovated, and each comes with its own private bathroom. We stayed in the Double Room, which was very comfortable and equipped with a fan—perfect for keeping cool at night. All the essentials are available on-site, including kayak and snorkeling gear rentals, which made exploring the area super convenient. One of the absolute highlights of our stay was the food. Sook Peng, Fred’s wife, is not only an incredible cook but also a truly warm and welcoming person. Sharing meals with her was a joy, and her cooking made every meal memorable. There are also cozy hammocks for relaxing, and the peaceful atmosphere made it easy to unwind. We couldn't recommend this place more highly—it's a rare gem built with heart and purpose. Oh, I was almost forgetting, both land and transport are organized by the Fred and Sook Peng and everything went super smooth! Terima kasih Fred and Sook Peng!

The Last Frontier Boutique Resort bevindt zich in Bilit, bovenop een heuvel van 100 meter hoog met uitzicht op het bosreservaat Kinabatangan. This was a fantastic experience and stay - altogether. The attentiveness of Jason and the staff makes it feel like a 5 star hotel, whilst the location and rustic feel makes it feel like you are truly in the heart of the jungle. You fall asleep to a light breeze and the sounds of the jungle. My wife is pregnant and we were a bit worried about mosquito diseases - but Jason explained that the ridge at which the hotel is at has barely any mosquitoes because of the altitude. He also suggested a non deet mosquito spray that really works. We had 0 mosquito bites during our stay. I can’t get all the things into a review. But such a gem of a place. Thank all of you ❤️

Bayu Senja Lodge ligt in Kundasang en biedt gratis WiFi, gratis privéparkeren en uitzicht op de tuin. Het uitzicht over de bergen en vallei vanuit de kamer is geweldig. Omgeving is heerlijk rustig. Voor een westerling is dit fantastisch.

Borneo Jungle Adventure bevindt zich in Kinabatangan in de regio Sabah en biedt accommodatie met gratis WiFi en gratis privéparkeren. The rooms are ok, but really in the middle of the jungle and just in front of the river The best part about the place is Lynda, she is like a living documentary she just wanted to show us all the animals in there and we saw them, Rhyno hornbill, elephants, crocodile and basically all the kind of monkeys we could see, just an amazing experience with her being the best guide possible The food was really good too and also the experiences out of the normal package I really recommend the night cruise, is something amazing being in that river in a small boat at night Loved it! Borneo Sepilok Rainforest Resort is gelegen in Sepilok in de regio Sabah en biedt accommodatie met gratis privéparkeren en toegang tot een hot tub. Beautiful resort and great value for money. Large, comfy beds and clean bathrooms. Food is of good standard, and location is amazing, being in-between the RDC and Orangutan and Sunbear Sanctuaries (as long as you are happy being in the middle of nowhere). Good wifi connection and signal, and amazing staff members

Nulu View Cabin ligt in Kundasang in de regio Sabah en biedt accommodatie met gratis privéparkeren. De ligging is prachtig en het uitzicht vanuit het raam was echt een meerwaarde. Helaas hield de rest van het verblijf hier geen gelijke tred mee.

Maglami-lami Water House in Semporna biedt accommodatie met uitzicht op de zee en een restaurant. Alle units hebben een eigen badkamer met bidet. Er is ook gratis toiletartikelen en slippers. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Free snorkeling around Waterhouse and equipment is also free(10RM to rent fin though). Dining is amazingly delicious(we had very good crabs).
