We chose the Sacred Beji to enjoy its calm jungle surroundings and it did not disappoint. The setting was very private and we enjoyed the use of the pool (shared by two villas) almost exclusively for ourselves. The staff at Sacret Beji was ready to help us with anything - Ami in particular made the extra effort and assisted us with various requests including booking us an amazing massage at the premises. The Jackfruit Restaurant, which is part of the larger complex, had a large variety of food, and everything we tried there was delicious. We explored the surrounding areas by scooters but anyone can easily hire cheap taxis to get around - Ubud is about 30 minutes south and Mt Batur is about 45 minutes north :)

The breakfast is served in the villa every morning next to the pool, we enjoyed it very much!

Nastanitev Bamboo Turtles Ecolodge se nahaja v Ubudu in ponuja zunanji bazen, vrt, teraso, bar ter razgled na reko. The room and facilities were absolutely beautiful. The breakfast was delicious and included, there were 2 options. I went with the Balinese sweet breakfast. The staff was absolutely fantastic! Ina was so kind, warm, and welcoming, and the other two staff with her during my stay were also helpful. As soon as I arrived, they knew exactly who I was and helped me with my luggage. Every detail was explained to me thoroughly, and they took their time to make sure I was informed and comfortable. The room included amenities like drinking water, an electric water heater, coffee, tea, mosquito/bug repellent. The outdoor shower was a dream. The view from my room was also like out of a photo album. I had a wonderful time in the lovely pool. It felt absolutely peaceful and private, in the middle of nature. One thing I especially liked was their detailed description booklet which explained how the property aims to be in harmony with the environment, sustainable, and have minimal environmental impact. Within walking distance were places to eat, rice terrace, and areas to jog. It was truly a wonderful and perfect stay for my 24 hours there.

Our Grasshoppers room was spacious, comfy bed, Netflix, hot shower, and the star of the show: an outdoor stone bathtub in the jungle – amaaazing! The infinity pool is gorgeous (yes, a bit chilly, but the view makes up for it). The whole place is tastefully decorated, wood and plants everywhere, with a super cozy restaurant/bar area. Food is delicious (don’t miss the fries & fried bananas!) and reasonably priced. What really makes this place stand out is the staff – the warmest, funniest, most genuine team ever. They make you feel like family, not just guests. Even the boss drops by personally. Peaceful jungle setting, breathtaking views, small and personal – simply perfect. And one last thing… See Dede, we did it! 😉

Nastanitev BALI BAMBOO JUNGLE HUTS AND HOSTEL je v mestu Tampaksiring in ponuja restavracijo, 24-urno recepcijo, bar, vrt, celoletni zunanji bazen, teraso ter pogled na vrt. Owners Bumbum and Sri, they are just beautiful people. Happy, helpfull and such optimistic. I love this place so much. I really enjoyed staying here. I felt like home 😊 Fully recommend 😊

A great place to get an authentic Ubudian and Guest House experience. The host was so sweet in gifting me an upgrade for my short weekend visit for an event nearby.

Our stay was unforgettable; we enjoyed every moment and felt everything was taken care of from the first day to the last. The villa itself is spotless, beautifully designed, and very well looked after, with a fantastic pool and a breathtaking view that makes every day feel special. One of the highlights was the setting: just a short distance from Ubud center while still being wonderfully quiet, peaceful, and relaxing. It was very easy to explore all the main attractions and then return to a calm, comfortable place where we could truly rest and enjoy our time. Breakfast quickly became one of our favorite daily rituals, whether we had it on the balcony or by the pool, always accompanied by a gorgeous view. Putu deserves a very special mention, as he is incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely outstanding in the way he takes care of guests. He organized everything for us, from renting bikes to arranging a fantastic massage on our balcony, and all the staff were just as friendly and hospitable. We were so happy with our stay that we are already looking forward to coming back. We warmly recommend this villa to anyone considering it and are truly grateful for everything that was done for us.
