Meillä oli viihtyisä huone, jonka parvekkeelta näkyi joelle. Heillä oli joen rannassa myös ravintola, jossa saimme nauttia todella maukasta ruokaa. Suosittelemme ehdottomasti maistamaan Tempe Rendangia täällä, se oli todella maukasta. Tuoreet hedelmämehut olivat myös loistavia! They arrange everything so well and take such good care of you, from the airport to your stay at the Garden Inn and especially during the jungle trekking. We did the two days one night trekking with Jerry, Rudy & Abdi. The guides are very funny, knowledgeable about everything and Abdi’s food was amazing! The trekking was tough but we had so much fun and saw many orangutans and other animals. Unforgettable experience and definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Indonesia! After the trekking we spent another night at the Garden Inn and did the village tour with Pindu, perfect way to learn more about the local community! He also let us make our own tempeh and gado gado, which was a lot of fun. If you are planning to visit Bukit Lawang, we would recommend to book everything with the Garden Inn team. Had an amazing time at lovely jungle lodge, Balu and his son Rifan will really look after you. The location of the lodge was great, away from the busy village and surrounded by the peaceful jungle. The best is falling asleep to the jungle sounds and being able to watch wild monkeys from the wooden huts. There's no electricity so make sure to charge all your devices beforehand. Highly recommend.

The homestay currently consists of three one-room cabins and a small house w/ a compact kitchen. It’s located in a quiet area away from the busy main road. The owner is a very kind elementary school teacher who lives near the homestay with his family. I stayed in one of the cabins and enjoyed the cleanliness, the hot water in the shower, the excellent WiFi, the exceptional view from the back porch, and the incredible hospitality of the whole family.

It's a quiet place..I really enjoyed my stay.. the staff was nice and very easy to deal with upon check in and check out.. its not too far from town..the room was clean also the bathroom..the owner just cleaned the pool only to give fun to my daughter..really appreciate that..will stay with the same homestay if i come again.
