Amir , our three day jungle tour guide gave us the best information and routes in the Jungle, we managed to see most of the animals that we dreamt of seeing! The food in the jungle was amazing ( thanks dian and hendra). Moreover , the night hike was phenomenal as well , it was conducted by Ipul the "Snake man", the legend himself ✌🏽✌🏽. Had an amazing time at lovely jungle lodge, Balu and his son Rifan will really look after you. The location of the lodge was great, away from the busy village and surrounded by the peaceful jungle. The best is falling asleep to the jungle sounds and being able to watch wild monkeys from the wooden huts. There's no electricity so make sure to charge all your devices beforehand. Highly recommend.

We were treated like family at on the rocks, wawan and his team were so helpful and friendly that we instantly felt at home. I cannot recommend staying here enough. We did multiple treks with Wong and he was wonderful, so much information to share but also never even felt like he was a guide. Treks can be suited for your fitness level but you are almost guaranteed to see orangutans no matter where you go. The restaurant was also delicious.

The property is very quiet with great clean air. Andy provided a coconut and coffee in the morning, as well as some herbal tea upon my arrival when I mentioned I was sick.

We enjoyed it so much that we kept extending and stayed almost a month, i think its the best accomodation u can get in Nias. :) Nice stylish place, bed comfortable and we slept super well. It also has a well equiped kitchen and living room. We really liked and enjoyed the view overlooking green garden and porch. :) Only small downside is that living room is shared space so ur directly to it but it was no problem at all for us and owner ensured it worked out, staff could be a bit more attentive too.

The owner is a very kind elementary school teacher who lives near the homestay with his family. I stayed in one of the cabins and enjoyed the cleanliness, the hot water in the shower, the excellent WiFi, the exceptional view from the back porch, and the incredible hospitality of the whole family.
