I booked this place for 2 nights but due to change on my plans I had to stay only for one night. The policy did not allow any modification, however Vicky (the owner) did everything possible to make my stay easier and comfortable. He accepted an early check-in, so I entered 5 hours before the normal check-in time. He also offered me free lunch and transport to get to the airport on the day of my departure. The place was just amazing! Comfortable room with a nice double bed and a spacious bathroom and good wifi. All very traditional according to the architectural style of the city. The location was unbeatable, just next to the main Haveli (traditional palace museum mansion) and very near to the other two most important Havelis (7 minutes max. walking distance) of Jaisalmer. More or less the same distance to get to the Jaisalmer Fort by foot and approximately 1km away from the Gadisar Lake which is another attraction in the city. Nonetheless, the big plus of the accommodation is its terrace! Having breakfast there or any meal is a must do thing and also get to the highest part of the terrace, offers fairly the best possible view to the Jaisalmer Fort. I recommend checking it both day and night! Overall I had a great stay there and I wish I could have stayed there for more!

The property offers stunning mountain views, well-maintained rooms, and top-notch hospitality. The staff was warm and attentive, ensuring a comfortable experience. Cedar Hill Lodge - A Boutique Homestay se nachází v destinaci Mašobra a poskytuje bezplatné Wi-Fi, zahradu, sdílený lounge a terasu. Na místě je k dispozici soukromé parkoviště. We had an absolutely lovely time at Cedar Hill Lodge. They’ve recently renovated the property and the rooms are very comfortable with cute interiors and everything you need. The common room is cute and cozy, and they have an outdoor area where you can chill and work with great views of the mountains. There’s also an open deck where we spent time stargazing. The sunrise and moon rise from here are simply stunning. The chef Jogan whipped up some delicious meals for us, including very good continental food. The place is run by Atul and Garima, who were super helpful with recommendations around the area. Babloo took good care of us and ensured that we had a comfortable stay. Do note that the place is in Chharabra, about 25 minutes away from Shimla. For us this was an advantage since we wanted to be away from the crowds. There are some restaurants nearby serving good food. It’s just across the road from Wildflower Hall, and is also very close (walkable) to a temple and the Rashtrapati Niwas. There are nature trails. We definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet getaway with breathtaking views!

Everything was good, the cottages, the food and hospitality. We had a wonderful time, will recommend the Bonfire at night, it was a wonderful experience.
