It’s the kind of place where you feel the history in the walls, yet the comfort is very real. One of the highlights of my stay was the incredible dog who lives here. Friendly, gentle and full of personality, he greeted me every time I walked in, as if he’d decided I was family. He added so much warmth to the experience that I can’t imagine the lodge without him. The guesthouse is run by two wonderful sisters whose hospitality truly stands out. They’re kind, open-minded and genuinely fun to be around. We had many great conversations about life, the city and everything in between. Their help and friendliness made my time in Varanasi even more meaningful, and I’m sincerely grateful for that. What makes Shiva Lodge special is the balance it offers. Step outside and you’re immediately immersed in the intensity, devotion and energy of Varanasi. Step back inside and you’re in a peaceful, welcoming sanctuary where you can breathe, relax and recharge. If you want a place that lets you truly experience the spirit of this sacred city while feeling cared for and comfortable, Shiva Lodge is a wonderful choice. I fully recommend staying here.

Beautiful hotel with lovely rooms and the restaurant has best view of the fort in Jaisalmer. The owner and staff were exceptional and provided great service. Vicky went out of his way to help us with an issue with our bus booking - could not recommend more.

We had a wonderful experience with this property, stayed here for 3nights and 4days. If you are looking for a place in the midst of nature without the hustle bustle of city, this is the perfect getaway. Host Shubham and care taker Rohit were great and their hospitality was top notch. We also went for off beat location, arranged by the hosts for a nominal cost, it was very nice too. I would certainly recommend the place, would personally would visit this property again during winters too. Thank you Shubham and team for their great care, wishing you best!!!

Amazing staff, going above and beyond to cater to any requests even taking laundry out to get done or fetching things from the shops for you. Lovely place to relax in the day or evening and Khushwant (the owner) makes sure everything is taken care of.
