The most beautiful place in India. We felt very comfortable and would have liked to stay longer. Everything was perfect. All the staff were always super friendly and in a good mood and the food is deliciouse. The accommodation is close to a waterfall and in the middle of nature. Perfect for a break.

I stayed for 6 nights at the Shiva lodge and liked it very much, it became my home in Varanasi. An oasis where you can rest and unwind after wandering around the ghats and the intensity of the city. I stayed during winter which is not the best time because there is a lot of pollution in the air and it gets really cold in the night! But at the Shiva lodge I found boiling hot water in the shower so I can warm up amazingly. The wifi was excellent as well. Nice rooftop views. Recommended!

Excellent location with great view from both the room and cafe on the terrace. Top class food all day, we had nearly all our meals here for four days. Wonderful people watching from the cafe terrace!! A genuine easy 10 min walk to the Fort. Room was super clean with good hot water and comfy bed. But best of all was the manager Vicky, he was so relaxed and attentive and helpful, with loads of good stories. A true host!

Atreya Boutique Cottage Near Tapovan ligger 29 kilometer fra Mansa Devi-tempelet og har en hage, en fellesstue og et felleskjøkken. Jacky was an amazing host and really made our trip to Rishikesh special, he was happy to help with lots of local knowledge which really helped our journey.

I Bera ligger Jawai's Wildness Lodge, som har en restaurant, bar, en hage, en barneklubb, helårsåpent utendørsbasseng og lekeplass. Boenhetene har utsikt over fjellet. This lodge has only been up and running for less than a year and I believe we were amongst the first European visitors. The lodge has a great pool and dining area. Food was super value for money and freshly cooked. Very friendly low-key professional service. The thing really to highlight though it’s the extra mile at the staff went to. Our son forgot his mobile phone in the taxi that dropped us off at the lodge and one of the team drove 30 minutes on a motorbike to catch up with a taxi to get the phone back. That same evening they also took us on an individual guide tour around the village and down to the lake where we saw crocodiles jumping into the water. The landscape in the region is quite unique and absolutely stunning. The leopard tour was a wonderful experience and not only gave you the chance to the whole range of wildlife but also to see the surrounding countryside we did both the morning and the evening tour but if you can only do one, I would recommend the morning.
