If you decide to stay here you’ll get a traditional Japanese house for yourselves. We were just a couple but it can easily contain a family of 5. There is a fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms, a bathroom and a toilet. The owner was very generous and picked us up from the train station upon our arrival and dropped us off there on our way out. We used the e-bikes that are offered by the owner for free to get around and we also took them with us to Naoshima which was a great help for getting around there. Overall we had a great stay and would gladly come back.

Also the cottage has a lot of space and the amenities were great, they even have a finnish style sauna with private outside space. The temple staff is super friendly and kind, and the breakfast option was always tasty with the food having some variety.

Kitchen has everything (although the little oven / grill was so dirty that we didn't touch it). Beds are very comfortable. Beautiful bathroom. Good WiFi, easy parking. There is a cart in the room to carry the baggage from the parking space to the house. The young man at the reception was very welcoming and helpful.
