I Nikko, under 1 kilometer fra Nikko Tosho-gu-helligdommen og 2,4 kilometer fra Tobu Nikko stasjon, ligger Silver Daisy Stay Nikko. The unit was very clean, comfortable, including all the amenities that you would need for a home-stay or just to have relaxing rest after a long day exploring Nikko. We went in November and it gets really cold at night, the unit was quick to warm up and the sauna is definitely a plus. 10/10 Recommend for short or long stays.

Everything was amazing! The location is very near to the Motohakone village in a very quiet area. The amenities in the house were amazing I’d highly recommend it to anyone travelling there Make sure you do enough groceries & supplies before you get there as everything closes at 4 or 5pm Maybe it makes sense to buy their offered bbq bundle too as it’ll be magical to bbq with friends out there

Best house and best host ever! Zack, the host, helped us everything starting from booking a restaurant, contacting ski school and preparing everything in the house. We were surprised when we opened the fridge and found everything is well prepared. (Milk, yogurt, butter, jam, eggs, fruits, ice cream, ice and even a frozen beer glass in the fridge.) Also he prepared rice, noodles, snacks, chocolates, tea, coffee and etc. Everything mentioned is free of charge! Another thing that we like is the dish washing service, the host offer to do the dishes by just put dirty dishes in the service area and they will clean and put it back in the service area later. Although the host lives nearby and helps us a lot, we still feel private and comfortable. Thank you so much Zack, we do appreciated your action! This house has 6 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and 4 toilets. Very spacious! We will definitely come back! 10 out of 10! Do not hesitate to book this house!

Surrounded by lush mountains in Minakami, Tenjin Lodge is just a 5-minute walk from Tenjindaira Snow Resort Ropeway and JR Doai Station. The lodge is very good, staffs were very friendly, informative and kind. The food was ultimate. Really worthy staying.

Our accommodation was a semi-detached house in a group of two, with a living room, bathroom, and kitchen on the ground floor, and two bedrooms on the first floor, all with nice wooden floors. There is plenty of space inside, plus a lovely terrace and a small garden outside. The house is located on a hill with a view of the valley. The driveway to the upper houses is steep and includes a 180-degree turn. We stayed there for two nights and really enjoyed it. Check-in was contactless and easy. The kitchen is very well equipped. There is also a washing machine and dryer, which are perfect for longer stays. All in all, it’s a very nice accommodation surrounded by nature that invites you to stay longer.

Set among Nikko’s peaceful forests and mountains, Nikko Park Lodge Mountain Side offers homely accommodation with free Wi-Fi just steps from hiking trails. Ken and Sei were amazing hosts. Extremely warm atmosphere nestled amongst the trees and mountains of Nikko. I enjoyed hiking in the morning by the river and caught the bus to the Kegon waterfalls. The shogun temple was beautiful.

I was offered free coffee, though I didn't try any. Location was convenient although it was on a hill that might be difficult for some to walk up. Free parking!
