Ubytovanie Koguchi Village by WhyKumano sa nachádza v destinácii Shingu 23 km od miesta Kumanoshi Kiwakozan Museum a ponúka klimatizáciu a bezplatné Wi-Fi. Lovely, modern, wooden building that was a perfect respite in Koguchi. Our host also made an amazing Japanese traditional steamed meal, and a real spread for breakfast. Shared bathroom was surprisingly not an issue in any way. No in terms of waiting, nor in terms of hygiene. Though I suppose that depends on fellow guests as well, as realistically the host can't be cleaning up immediately after every guest, so we were lucky. We didn't use it but there is a bath as well.

The hosts are the warmest people around. They made sure I was comfortable and the meditations in the morning are quite amazing too. Highly recommend this stay and I definitely plan to come back! Thank you so much for opening up your home to me, this made my Koyasan visit so memorable.

Ubytovanie Mountain Home Lodge in Deer Park sa nachádza v destinácii Nara v štvrti Nara Park 3,3 km od miesta Železničná stanica Nara a 20 km od miesta Iwafune Shrine. Amazing! Great to have the deer at your window :) We received good information from the host before we arrived and after check out they kept our luggage and then ordered us a taxi to the train station when we picked our bags up. The room also had coffee, tea, creamer and more basic things so we did not have to bring it.

Ubytovanie kakayama hutte sa nachádza v destinácii Muraoka 27 km od miesta Toyooka City History Museum a 34 km od miesta Daijoji Temple. Amazing stay! We had the whole place to ourselves, and the village is incredibly peaceful—perfect for a relaxing getaway. The common areas are great and easy to use, adding to the comfort. Excellent value for the price. Highly recommended!

Ubytovanie Taraichitei sa nachádza v destinácii Takashima 28 km od miesta Kehi Jingu Shrine, 34 km od miesta Omimaiko Beach a 40 km od miesta Železničná stanica Obama. It is an old style house, so as long as you aren't expecting Western/modern comforts, it's fantastic! My daughter called it the Totoro house. You will sleep on Japanese futons that you lay out on the tatami mats - if you've never slept on a futon it might feel uncomfortable/hard compared to Western beds. You will eat sitting on the tatami mats, but there are a couple of small Western chairs if sitting on the floor is difficut. The bathroom is Japanese style with the toilet in one section, the sink/vanity in a second section and the shower with separate furo (deep bathtub for soaking after washing in the shower) in the third section. It was not the most modern but all clean and more spacious than the Western hotel bathrooms we had other parts of Japan! There is a TV, wifi worked great and a bluetooth speaker to play music. There aren't a lot of "tourist" attractions nearby but it you want serenity this hits the spot - a few steps away has you walking among farming fields and the house is also close to the forest with a little stream running along side the road making for a peaceful but easy walk up the mountain. The gohan (rice) cooked in the old style stove was the best we ate our entire trip! Wish we had bought some of the local rice. It can get a little smoky when dinner is being cooked but my mild asthma was fine. The host, Hiro, is amazing, super accomodating and friendly, he introduced us to his shiba inu (dog) and his duck, and even though we didn't ask ahead, he prepped for us to make tofu - this experience was an extra fee but totally worth it! During the winter you can also request mochitsuki (pounding rice into mochi) and summer/fall you can make noodles (can't remember if he said soba, ramen or udon). Hiro's English is limited, but he's so engaging, we asked him to eat dinner with us and my daughter loved that...he has such good energy!

It had private hours for inn guests. I also appreciated the clean, modern cabin. Yusuke and the whole staff were extremely helpful and accommodating, even offering a shuttle to and from Koyasan twice per day. Beautiful valley. there is a bridge that allows you to get down to the rivers edge to enjoy the water.

Ubytovanie Tamayura no Sato sa nachádza 30 km od miesta Kishi Station. Hostia tu majú k dispozícii reštauráciu, sezónny vonkajší bazén, záhradu a terasu. This was a nice place away from the city. They have bbqs where you can grill outside of your cabin. Comfortable cabins close to some cool stuff to see. Friendly staff.

Ubytovanie Fukurou sa nachádza v destinácii Kushimoto 3,3 km od miesta Shionomisaki Shrine a 12 km od miesta Kushimoto Turkish Memorial and Museum. Ponúka prístup do záhrady. I really enjoyed the private access Onsen, available to sign up once a day. Perfect after biking around Kushimoto all day—I rented one of their electric assist bikes which made going up and down the local hills easier. Complete with helmet and cell phone holder. The room was very spacious and comfortable.
