This place truly felt like a dream, with a tranquil river, waterfall, luscious greenery and the faint hum of animals and nature. Our stay in the air conditioned treehouse was exceptional, with futons that, while firmer, offered a uniquely comfortable rest. The seclusion of the spot made it feel like a private slice of paradise. The river and waterfall were so serene that I could spend hours simply relaxing on their sun loungers by the edge. There is also a cafe across the river that is run by a wife and husband duo that is only accessible by walking or driving on a path through a scenic rice paddy. It had sushi, pizza, noodles and more that was delicious and worth trying! The lodge also offers a range of riverside activites such as saunas, bike riding, a fire-pit for evening relaxation, and water rafting. The rafting and the peaceful moments floating in the river were core memories from my stay and a must try!

We were supposed to be there before 6:00pm the latest but we finally arrived late around 8:30pm as we lost our way. Without getting the electronic toll card (ETC card) from the car company, we were stuck at the toll collection point ( cash is not acceptable), the host was so nice to direct us to find another way out and waited until our late check in. Really appreciate for his kindness. Make your booking at this cottage is a very good choice.

Also well located to hike the Arakawa trail, I was able to take the first bus without problems. You can also order bento for the trail the day before if you want to, which is super convenient. Also located near a supermarket and the main town, if you want to buy supplies or eat in a local restaurant. It was super clean and super comfortable.

The houses are very comfortable and well equipped. We absolutely loved Japanese breakfasts. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. My daughter absolutely loved the goat. Apparently it is not a very easy to tame goat but after 2 days and some carrots it licked her hand ;)

Lo Stardust Village Hossyo offre una vasca termale e sistemazioni con cucina a Kokonoe. L'alloggio dispone di terrazza, aria condizionata, TV a schermo piatto e bagno privato con vasca. é un posto stupendo! la struttura si trova in mezzo al verde, in una zona di montagna molto tranquilla, parcheggio ampio e gli appartamenti sono grandi e spaziosi. Il nostro aveva la possibilità di dormire o su tatami o su letti all'occidentale. Abbiamo scelto l'opzione con colazione, che viene servita nella struttura principale, e la cena, che si può preparare in autonomia in camera, ci sono a disposizione tutti gli ingredienti in frigorifero e le istruzioni su come fare. Abbiamo potuto usufruire sia dell'onsen famigliare, in modo gratuito, semplicemente richiedendolo alla reception, sia del rotemburo esterno, diviso per uomini e donne, che è semplicemente meraviglioso! purtroppo siamo stati solo una notte, ci tornerei molto volentieri

La quiete del posto, l’accoglienza, sembrava di stare in famiglia. Abbiamo avuto la possibilità di osservare le stelle dal piccolo osservatorio presente in struttura. Bella esperienza.
