Situated 40 km from Tsavo SGR Station, Salt Lick Safari Lodge features accommodation in Tsavo. Complimentary WiFi is offered. A car rental service is available at the lodge. Best part of this lodge is the staff that works there. From the moment we arrived they did everything they could to make us feel welcomed! We had such a difficult time getting there due to unrelated matters. We arrived late, hadn’t eaten anything all day and we were afraid we would miss dinner. Our way to the lodge was a long dust road. Driving it at night made for a mysterious and adventurous drive. The entrance to the lodge was beautifully lit and upon arrival we were met by the most understanding staff. They prepared a table just for us even if the kitchen was closed. So there we sat, in a dimmed restaurant with buffalos drinking right next to us. We had read some reviews beforehand which mentioned the rooms were outdated which I don’t agree with. The rooms were unique and cozy. Some mentioned the beds were hard. Come on kings and queens, are we here to sleep in or explore the beautiful surroundings? Besides; firm beds are good for you. To us the lodge was absolutely perfect! We had the best time here and grew to, dare I say, even love the staff and the serene atmosphere.

We've had our own bungalow in a very beautiful hotel garden with pool. There's also an open-walled restaurant and areas with comfortable seats and couches. Great place to read and relax. Overall we were absolutely happy finding this place. Thank you!

If you are reading this review, stop debating and book Maneaters! Our stay was nothing short of magical, an unforgettable experience where we were truly cared for from start to finish. A heartfelt thank you to Rose, Rosemary, and Rubin, our fantastic safari driver who also ensured seamless transportation to and from the train in Voi. And the wildlife? Absolutely breathtaking! Watching elephants, monkeys, and crocodiles up close so near you could almost reach out and touch them was simply incredible.

At Severin Safari Camp, nature comes first. Set within the Kitani Wildlife Circuit of Tsavo West National Park, the camp is unfenced, allowing wildlife to roam freely around the waterholes right in... We were extremely happy with Severin Safari Camp. I was hesitant to pay the pickup and dropoff fees, but it was so worth it. It is expensive, but they picked us up in an open-sided Jeep and we saw so many animals both to and from the camp. Both drivers did an excellent job stopping so we could see the animals. It was basically like having a safari on the way to the camp. We stayed in a bandara and that was definitely the right thing to do. If I were to go back, I'd do it again, regardless if I had the money to upgrade or not. It was fantastic. It had a very well equipped kitchen and you could use a bbq. If I were to go back, I'd just bring my own food and stay there the whole time. We saw so many animals while hanging out on the porch. If we would have brought food to cook, we wouldn't have had to go to the lodge at all. I would have happily stayed there and just watched the animals pass by. We did go to the lodge for dinner and it was excellent. It isn't cheap, but it is worth it. It was a great meal and plenty of food. They even did a custom order for my wife, which was greatly appreciated. The staff were fantastic and everyone was very nice. Alpha was great. He setup our room for us and built a fire and everything. He is a very friendly and helpful guy. I would really recommend Severin Safari Camp to anyone. It was also really nice to have a more affordable option within the park. That made things really nice for us.

Located at Kilifi Creek, just 3 km outside of town and surrounded by a community forest, Distant Relatives Ecolodge and Backpackers features a secluded beach area, a restaurant and outdoor pool. Probably the best place to stay in Kilifi for the price/value ratio. The common areas are awesome, the pool and the view from the restaurant terrace are great. Staff is lovely, food is great, all in all a great place to spend time in Kilifi!

Natural surrounding, glamping for kids and family in the forest feel environment, friendly dogs. Lovely pool and access to beach. The Pilli pipa boat camp was an adventure. The included breakfast was tasty and good portions.
