The food is superb. And the staff are very friendly and always happy to help on all what needs. It’s not my first time in Mara but it’s the best place I have ever stay in Mara.

Only the few people staying at the 2 properties can safari on the conservancy. Luckily I had the property to myself and was able to spend most of my time in the bush. The staff were awesome especially the safari guide.

We recently stayed at Drunken Elephant Mara and it turned out to be an absolutely wonderful choice. The property is beautifully located inside the Masai Mara National Reserve, giving you the chance to truly immerse yourself in nature—with wildlife frequently wandering close to the camp! The staff were incredibly warm and hospitable, always present around the camp to assist—whether it was guiding us to the restaurant or reception, or helping when animals were nearby. Their constant presence made us feel both safe and well cared for. Our tented room was spacious, luxurious, and extremely comfortable, equipped with all the modern amenities you’d expect from a high-end property, without compromising on the authentic safari experience. The meals were delicious and thoughtfully prepared, and the team even packed us meal boxes for our game drives. Speaking of which, the game drives arranged by the team were fantastic—well-coordinated and truly memorable. A small but heartwarming gesture was the team placing hot water bottles in our beds at night, which made the chilly Mara evenings extra cozy. A special shoutout to Faheem, the reservations manager, who helped us plan our trip from the start—answering every question with patience and attention. Huge thanks also to Abraham and the rest of the team for their hospitality and for making our stay so memorable. Highly recommend Drunken Elephant Mara for anyone looking for an unforgettable stay in the Masai Mara!

Das Sarova Mara Game Camp liegt im Herzen des Wildreservats Maasai Mara. We loved the attention of the staff, the location, the comfort of the room. It was really an amazing trip and I am definitely planning to come back.

Das Mara River Camp mit Blick auf den Fluss Mara befindet sich an der nordwestlichen Grenze des Naturschutzgebiets Masai Mara. Freuen Sie sich auf einen Pool und einen Garten. Die Lage ist einmalig, sehr schön eingerichtet, sehr freundliches Personal, wir blieben leider nur eine Nacht und hatten Regen, daher konnten wir den Pool nicht nutzen. Wir würden aber auf jeden Fall wiederkommen

Das Ashnil Mara Camp im nationalen Naturschutzgebiet Masai Mara verwöhnt Sie mit einem Blick auf den Fluss Mara, der für die vorbeiziehenden Gnu-Herden berühmt ist. Love this camp. Right in the heart of Mara reserve. View of river is lovely. Not all rooms have view but lodge view is top. Hippos and crocodiles in river. Great sounds at night. Lovely location for exploring Mara. Staff was amazing. Great food and so nice. Hope I return one day
