The staff was very welcoming, Leonard came to meet us by the main road to guide us to the guesthouse, John took us on a hike to the hill top so we could take in the Maasai Mara scenery. Edwin and Joy prepared dinner, and packed breakfast and lunch for us for the game drive. Beautiful campfire after dinner and the sound of animals in nature made it all worth it. Then the highlight of the trip was the game drive with James.

Truly Unforgettable Safari Experience at Drunken Elephant Mara From the moment we arrived, the warmth and professionalism of the staff at Drunken Elephant Mara made us feel right at home. The level of service was nothing short of exceptional, with every detail carefully tended to throughout our stay. Special thanks to Newton, whose attentive and friendly approach truly elevated our experience—his hospitality left a lasting impression! The food was absolutely delicious, with each meal perfectly prepared and presented. From hearty breakfasts to exquisite dinners under the stars, the culinary experience rivaled the best we’ve had anywhere. The camp’s environment added a thrilling layer to our adventure. With baboons and hyenas occasionally strolling through the area, it felt like we were genuinely immersed in the wild—exciting, safe, and surreal all at once. The accommodation was both comfortable and authentic, blending rustic charm with all the amenities one could hope for in a luxury safari camp. In short, Drunken Elephant Mara delivered an unforgettable slice of wilderness wrapped in comfort and care. Highly recommended for anyone seeking an adventurous yet refined escape.

The staff were the courteous ones I have ever encountered at a hotel. Right from check-in to check-out they were friendly, cooperative, and accommodating. The staff helped us celebrate our daughter's birthday with Masai touch and a cake at no cost. Hot water is available all times and power availability was no issue. There were table tennis and snooker tables that kids enjoyed after safari trips. Food was fine also. Soft drinks and water were all included in meals.

The setting was great. Travelling from Nairobi to the lodge was good. Some potholes in the road slowed us down a bit. Once at the lodge, the hospitality was welcoming and friendly. The facilities are very good. All the meals were excellent. The chefs prepared Indian meals good variety. Oliver was so helpful. He went above and beyond to assist.

The stay was very good. The tent was new and also the furnitures. The bed was found very comfortable and wide, we slept all nights long except when we woke up and heard the wild animals. The staff made everything to make us feel like home and they were excellent. The lodge is situated just 1 minute from the gate to the Mara. We can strongly recommend this tented camp! Lina and Martin

Osero Lodge is a beautiful base for an incredible trip to the Masai Mara. If you get a chance to go on safari then DO IT! It's life changing. The staff are so kind and attentive and the masai guards escorting you to your tent is so comforting when you feel like you are out of your comfort zone.

The location was amazing. We were looking for a lodge with incredible views and we weren't disappointed! The attention and food were excellent. We enjoyed the pool and our time at the lodge and in the conservation. We really appreciated the intimacy of the environment with the limited number of rooms and overall setup.

Very warm and kind people manning the Camp, from housekeepers to Reception. Excellent spread and sumptuous Breakfast. Superb people running the show in Dining Area, even interns were full of Enthusiasm. Well maintained Swimming pool and overall a superb camouflaged accommodation in midst of vast wilderness. Amazing sitout at Bar, splendid evening show, awesome Mini Club to wind down in evening from Club Tent, Their team hasn't left any stone unturned to make it more memorable than Safari as well.

Beautiful camp and most amazing staff. We felt super welcomed as a Family with a 1.5 year old kid. Safaris are amazing. They are super flexible and we saw all the big cats. Not to be missed - breakfast in the bush. The service is outstanding, every night they put a hot water bottle in your bed. It's this kind of attention :-)
