Located 6.6 km from Tissa Wewa, Ranakeliya Lodge - Yala provides accommodation with a garden, a terrace and room service for your convenience. Great accommodation! We stayed in the little house which had everything we needed. The candlelit dinner was adorable (just wish we had the BBQ!) and the safari guide is amazing! The food is great all round, and there is also a lot more to do around the area than we previously thought! Perfect yala stay over.

Offering a restaurant, Koragaha Lodge - Yala provides a 24-hour front desk for the convenience of the guests. The air-conditioned accommodation will provide you with work desk and seating area. The room was very clean and very comfortable. Stuff was friendly. The whole area was really beautiful. Also the pool was good. Breakfast and dinner was also very delicious with a wide range of opportunities where we could choose from.

Yala Village Eco Tree House has garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Tissamaharama, 10 km from Tissa Wewa. We had an amazing stay with the heartwarming family that is taking care of the eco village. We were welcomed very lovely by the host and her daughter. She served delicious Sri Lankan food and was always checking whether everything was fine. The property is really beautiful and gives the feeling of an authentic jungle stay. The huts are small but cosy and mosquito nets are already provided. Sadly we booked our safari tour beforehand but the hosts of the eco village also offer safari jeep tours so we would highly recommend to book it with them. The brother of the host was also very friendly and took care that we get to the bus station on time to catch our bus to Hiriketyia. In total we would really recommend to stay at this place and get the chance to live with locals.

Offering mountain views, Elephant Arcade in Tissamaharama offers accommodation, an outdoor swimming pool, a garden, a terrace and a restaurant. Very nice comfortable house rooms, pleasant view, beutifull birds around singing. Peacefull place with very kind and helpfull people take care of you. Lots of animals around, monkeys jumping on the trees ( but not disturbing) peacocks running, squirrels etc The food is very good - u have to try breakfast and dinner. Hightly recommend

Great location to silent beach and another nice beach close by. Nice to have cooking facilities. Clean and good facilities. Caretaker was very friendly and helpful and gave us lots of good advice as to where to go.

Set 700 metres from Tangalle Beach, Rock Violet Lakefront Cabanas & Restaurent offers a garden, a terrace and air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony and free WiFi. Beautiful place, surrounded by nature with a view on the lagoon, peacocks running around and an amazing beach a 10 min walk away. The a/c was working well. Everything was very clean. The owner was very friendly and prepared the best food I had in Sri Lanka.

Located in Kalametiya in the Hambantota District region and Gurupokuna Beach reachable within 1.5 km, Taragala Chalets provides accommodation with free WiFi, BBQ facilities, a garden and free private... Saman was a wonderful host in a very special place. We absolutely loved the chalet and it's setting with a wealth of bird life to watch from the verandah. It was lovely to have our own kitchen but then also to have the opportunity to have an evening meal cooked by his next door neighbour which was very delicious. The other fabulous thing was it's location looking out over the bird sanctuary and couldn't have been better placed for the early morning boat paddled bird watching trip on the lagoon which was out of this world.

With garden views, Relax Beach House is situated in Tangalle and has a restaurant, room service, bar, garden and terrace. Both WiFi and private parking are accessible at the lodge free of charge. The property is in a quite area and it’s perfect if you’re looking for a non-touristy place. Just a few steps from the beach where you will basically find no other tourists, which is great! The room is clean and spacious, it has an AC and there is a spacious bathroom. The owner is very hospitable and helpful. They also have a restaurant where you can have breakfast, dinner, drinks, etc. Ideal place for a peaceful stay.

Sanderling Silent Beach Cabanas offers accommodation in Tangalle. Mulkirigala Rock Monastery is 2.4 km from the property. Free private parking is available on site. Everything was perfect. The bungalow is really comfortable and much bigger than you can expect when looking at the pictures. Nice big room with comfortable bed, nice bathroom and great terrace where we used to spent the evenings. Everything you need was there. The place is close to 2 gorgeus beaches: Goyambokka and Silent Beach. The place is really beautiful and if you like the nature it is the best place for you. Garden is magic. In the morning you can hear birds and see many of them. For us it was great to see peacocks walking but also squirrels, sometimes monkeys. Breakfasts - absolutely amazing . And finally or first of all - the owners are great and they are the unique source of knowledge about Sri Lanka culture.
